Broken Arrow Ok.
I had a 650 twist battery on a wall charger last night and as i was going to bed i checked and it was all green (charged) so i unplugged the wall charger but left the batt hooked up to it through the usb adapter.
It was completly dead this morning and would not even flash the little light button at all. I plugged it back up and it charged up normally and now seems to be holding the charge.

I guess your not supposed to do that but i was curious as to how it drained the battery. It was on my desk not touching any metal at all.

It's possible that the battery did not make a good connection or that something may be wrong with the charger or the battery. If it's working now, I would probably say that it didn't make the connection. I would clean the connectors on the battery and the charger with a q-tip dipped in alcohol. Make sure you dry it before plugging it back in. You may also want to invest in a new charger. They are about $10Sorry to be so vague, but any number of things could be wrong.

I've found the usb chargers are prone to failure and always have a spare on hand- about $4.00.
Also from the "Flashlight Guyz":
"Your battery is still connected to electronics in the charger which will discharge the battery over time. Most chargers will drain a battery if left connected to a charger with no power input. You have a lot of circuitry in there, and it takes power to run it. Just plug it in, and be sure to remove the battery before removing power."

A normal eGo battery charger will continue to light up even after being unplugged from the wall outlet, if you don't disconnect the battery from it. I've always wondered if that would discharge the battery if I left the battery screwed onto it. I guess you answered my question. So, from now on, unscrew the battery from it after you unplug it from the wall outlet.

If you leave the device hooked up to the charger (ie cell phone or any other usb powered device) it will backflow into the wall unit discharging the battery. There is no protection (sorry can't think of the name of them but they only let current go one way) So it puts the batteries charge back into the wall unit. Just unhook the battery each time and you'll do fine.

I learned the hard way to unscrew the battery after it is charged, i defiantly won't do that again.

It gave me one of those oh shoot moments. I took my wife to the store and just put the batt on and put it in my pocket and halfway to the store i find it dead and the first thing i think of is oh i hope your list isn't very long or we will have to go back to the house.

Yes the name "back diode"??? seems to ring a bell but only cuz you mentioned it

Just diode vapoor eyes. They only let current flow one way. Spent over 27 years of my life wasted trying to learn all the tech stuff. When they got rid of me I made a promise to myself I would never go back into it again. Thus the reason I don't try to figure ohms, volts, watts, etc. I just want a good vape that keeps me of analogs. But thank you anyway.
