My latest VK has 4 tiny little holes. The draw is harder than how I like it to be. I've read that some people have drilled larger holes. Are there any particular drill bit for a Dremel or drill that is best to use?

Thanks!

I hear you, I sent samples to china, exactly what I wanted, but, of course, they did not listen. Next shipment should be darn near perfect though.

Just an update. I bought a Dremel Precision drill bits set for $7 at a hardware store and used the 3/64" bit to drill out 2 of the holes, making them bigger. Now the auto-batts draw much easier and works really well for me.

This is what the kit looks like

All you can do is try to tell them. Sometimes they listen. Sometimes they don't. =)

Can you show a pict of your battery with the bigger holes? That should be huge compared to the original holes. Also have you noticed a negative effect of doing this?

Shall - Here are a couple of pics. Both the blue and green each has 4 holes, no slot. I left the blue one untouched since I promised it to JenJen. In the green one, you can see the larger hole and a crappy dremel job I did to give it a slot. I think the combo of the home-made slot and bigger holes made the difference.

Besides the easier draw, I noticed that it took the auto batt about a second before it turns on. I'll live with that 1-sec loss. =)
