Drinking (Alcohol) & Vaping - Share your experiences

Im obviously new... I have been trying to go analog free, but ended up having 3 today because my batts died and I forgot my PCC..

Anyway, I know I can go analog free with the right flavors and a little more effort..

I drink socially on special occasions, holidays and a night out with the guys (once in a big while)..

I am planning on having a few drinks Xmas Eve or Day, and when I do drink I must have nicotine! I just dont wanna end up smoking a pack so I thought Id ask you all if vaping is satisfying while drinking.. What are your experiences while drinking?

They work well drinking! I doubt you will meet anyone that drinks as much as me, and I am analog free going on four weeks! can be done. and done easily, just don't dunk them in your drink!!

I have a few cocktails most every night and vaping works great for me. By the way, I must have tobacco flavors while drinking for some reason.

There are some flavors that just don't go well with the flavors I'm drinking, but other than that, no problems.

coming from someone who drinks in excess on a nightly basis ( not proud of it but being newly unemployed will do that to you ) vaping more than replaces analogs. Its a whole new experience while drinking. Granted you WILL vape more when drinking but keep in mind you would smoke more too. Find a good flavor and nic level and make sure you have enough on hand to last through the night. I usually burn through 2+ carts ( refills using the spin method to get 30+ drops in ) in a 5-6 hour period when drinking. Menthol I find is the best flavor for me to vape while endulging.

I just read something about that, too - the absence of carbon monoxide is apparently what helps. I have also noticed that I haven't had a migraine bad enough to have to take an Imitrex since I started vaping *knocks on head*.

I find vaping while drinking alcohol to be quite satisfying, though you'll want to have the appropriate flavor. For example, I discovered that beer does not go particularly well with a strawberry cheesecake flavor - LOL!

You'll be fine. As stated already, make sure to take your back-up bats and carts/cartos. I like R3 and Marl while vape/drinking.

I know that many people will disagree with me, but in my opinion drinking coffee and vaping is not nearly as satisfying as compared to smoking and drinking coffee. However, getting healthier is the most satisfying. Note: 23 days smoke free and counting.

well personally cirarettes and alchohol (oo sounds like a song) had a funny effect on my body ... made me go a bit crazy ... almost in a drug enduced way ... since vaping i seem to be a bit more controlable when drinking ...hmmmmm waaaa

Vaping and drinking is much better IMO, no burning throat from smoking too much, burn holes from ashes flying, and you don't stink [unless you spilled booze on yourself ]
I also have noticed that any 'morning after' blahs are less than when I smoked.But like others have said, find a good flavor, I like tobacco flavored cartos, banana and toffee not so much with drinking but great during the day!

Peanut Butter Cup goes very well with Shiner Bock, I discovered!

I greatly enjoy my bourbon, and drink most nights of the week. I haven't run into too many nasty flavor combinations with it, but I seem to lean towards the smokier, heavier, sweeter flavors with my bourbon. Chocolate is rather nice.

If I'm out drinking, I actually don't hit my PV very much at all, which I find odd. When I smoked, I smoked like a chimney while drinking.

Whoever said that drinking coffee while vaping is not satisfying has not tried French Toast e-juice. It is the Breakfast of Champions!

With me it's simple. I like beer. I like scotch. I like coffee with any kind of alcohol I might be having. And I liked smoking. (Used to have to go outside, in any kind of weather, about every 30-40 minutes to smoke a 100mm Full Flavor.)

I love vaping. Haven't had an analog since my UU kit arrived. Now I don't have to go outside the club! I can enjoy my beer and coffee, or scotch and coffee, and vape a coupla puffs (18-24mg) whenever I like and never leave the group I'm with.

I haven't found a cart flavor yet that I don't like to vape with beer or scotch or coffee. And I'll switch carts two or three times in an evening, for variety.

SO much better and more fun than smoking! (Did I mention about 1/10th the cost? Yep: 1/10th the cost. And I was a heavy 2-3 pack a day smoker.)

here we go, my admission of how much i drink.......

nothing during the day (if the sun is out, no booze..... except on the days that have special names on the calendar..... night time, well... its on!!)

that being said, i have found myself to be the whiskey lover myself....
canadian...
bourbon...
scotch...
tennessee..
irish...

i love all whiskeys!
went from the whiskey and coke to just the whiskey and an ice cube or two over time....

right now i have about 2 fingers of bushmill's 21 yr single malt with a single ice cube in my hand (its xmas, so i dug into my "good" stash), and a peach cobbler cart thats been refilled with banana...... goes just fine in my book!

next i'll try the same cart with a couple of fingers of george dickel barrel select... and let you know how that one goes!

with a good canadian whiskey, i like all carts i have found... as the canadian whiskey is lighter and more mellow in character....(i prefer Wiser's 18yr....not bad on price either, $36 for a bottle (750))

not like i drink this good all the time though, as i consume too much for the cost!!! i just have some good stuff around for the occasion..... normally, its just some canadian mist, george dickel no.12, or some crappy Dewars!
