I've been vaping a few months, and after some trial and error, find I actually prefer my Torque 56 and Protank Mini 3 to analogs. But there's one big problem left: If I drink a beer or two, it suddenly tastes completely different, and just awful! So I end up buying a pack of smokes.

A friend says it doesn't happen to him at all. Does anyone else get this?

Nope. As soon as I begin tasting anything other than beer I quickly have one or more beers until it goes away.

@anjaffm, I just got the normal Flavour Art ones from a local shop. I find most of them to have a kind of "medicine" taste. I didn't mind 7 Leaves, though it's not much like tobacco. Give the Halo Torque 56 a try, it's kind of legendary and to me it's so much better than any other tobacco flavour I've tried (though I haven't tried all that many). I ordered mine from smokesmarter.de, they're actually in the Netherlands but have the best price and I got the package two days after I ordered it.

Yesterday I found a local shop that has Halo. I tried them all, and went home with Tribeca, Freedom juice, and Longhorn. I really like the Freedom Juice. It has a hint of cedar wood like a good cigar. Longhorn tasted like a small cigar in the shop, but now I have it home, I'm not quite getting it. Maybe it needs to sit. Tribeca is interesting, though a little more sweet than I usually like. Anyway I was excited with the new flavours, until I went to meet some friends for a beer, and it all started tasting like cough syrup...

Darn straight! Castle long is my vape of choice during my hydration sessions. It doesn't matter if it's Pabst, Coors, Rolling Rock, or even (dare I say it) water! I do like the beer, as nd castle long.

I have to say that I agree with Anjaffm a couple posts back......

I vape a mild tobacco......... and when I wasn't more flavor, I mix in a little bit of stronger tobacco taste........

never had any problem with any kind of booze or food losing taste.......... crap, i'm 220 lbs, wish something would turn me off food and booze......lol

just sayin'
