I just got mine from myvaporstore today. It's actually a pretty good little mod. I've been too busy today to put my velocity on it. Actually I'm happy enough with it the way it is. Im not interested in putting claptons on this or crazy low ohm builds.
I've never had a kanger mod before . It's better built than I thought it would be.
I will definitely be more likely to buy other mods they make now.
It does seem to me to be pretty much just a nice mech mod, which im happy with.
I hope Kanger keeps making squonkers, they are on the right path :)

Well, the PBusardo review got me to bite. The dimensions seem to be the same as my Peko with a Derringer, and that with a topper that looks to be at least 50% taller than a Derringer. $29.89 pre-order from FT. No hurry, I really don't _need_ another squonker, but I just couldn't resist. For science...right?

TL;DW version of Busardo's review: It's unregulated, but obviously not mechanical. The atty is not suitable for MTL.

Mine just showed up:

It's quite small. It's got the footprint of a CeeCee or a Pinch, but is shorter than either. Why did I buy this given the other mods that I have? As a cheap beater and for one feature that I find quite compelling: The on-board charger. I have a couple of multi-day business trips coming up this year and not having to pack a separate charger will be a definite plus as far as I'm concerned.

I won't get to playing with it until this weekend, but will report back.

Smaller than I thought. Squonks fine. That atty tho, not for me. Way to big of a chamber and coils to far from air slots. Just harsh to me. Tried rebuilding it with coils closer to air but they end up a mile off the deck. Tossed on the freakshow, twisted 28 .4ohm, much better. Like Rossum said A good beater mod.

Well that review answers most of the questions. Still don't have mine and Breazy hasn't answered my email about when. BTW, I can answer one question PB didn't know.......Jack Murray used the word "squonk" to describe squeezing a bottom feeder bottle for the first time 11/02/2010

"Hey, don't sweat it! It's kind of hard to wrap your head around at first until you see it. The link between the juice bottle and the atty has a great seal and it just squonks the juice right up in there everytime you give it a squeeze. It's brilliant. No wires, nothing to screw up - it's exactly the kind of thing that I like to have, whether it's chef's knives or mods. =D"

Yep - it's kind of cool that a ReosMods post here spawned the term now used worldwide to describe a category of vape products...

Agreed - I HAVE to have a capped bottle, but for a different reason.

When I fly, I swap out the full bottle pre-flight for an empty. Otherwise, air pressure auto-squonks all OVER the place. Some people say they don't have that problem, but I did every time. So that's my setup - empty bottle on for the flight, and the full bottle is capped, and in my carry-on.

I've been flying somewhere every couple weeks for work, too...so "how do I leak-proof it for a flight" is an actual deciding factor in me choosing vape gear.

Wish they used a common bottle, that has a solid cap.
Just doesn't fit my routine of having many bottles filled, ready to grab and go.

I set mine up this evening. Since I'm very much an MTl vaper, I ripped out the stock 0.2 ohms coils and put in a build more suitable to my vaping style; dual 26 gauge, 8 wraps around 2.4mm bits, measuring out to 0.55 ohms:

4FsPaPP.jpg

Wicked it (with rayon, of course!), filled the bottle, set the airflow to a draw that suits me, and...

Meh. I could (and would) vape this if I had to, but this atty is not for me. The chamber is much too big. The mouthpiece is way too wide, meaning the flow has little velocity. The atty has what amounts to a reservoir under the deck that serves no useful purpose, except to force you hold the squonk long enough to fill it. On the plus side, it doesn't make me cough like the stock 0.2 ohm build almost certainly would.

I'll probably put an Origen Little 16 on it at some point. I expect i'll like that a whole lot better.

That's more the results I figured for. Thanks for the update, Uwe.
