So my itty bitty drivers were delivered today. Yes, it's Sunday. Go figure.
Anyway, I had somehow imagined that once the two screws on the ends of the top were removed, the guts would pull out of the shell as an assembly. Wrong. Only the top "cap" comes off:
Looking down inside, the guts are glued in there:
So there are two circuit boards in there, one for the switch/LED assembly, and one that actually controls power. The flank the feed-tube assembly, which is a slip fit. I wonder just how long that's going to remain free of leaks?
I'm not inclined to tear the rest of the guts out just yet...
