Yeah the lower in resistance you go the more you will notice it for sure, voltage drop is higher and the drop off in battery voltage is less gradual. I haven't even tried the stock atty myself but it looks like a pretty inefficient design, air comes in way above the coils and it is so much bigger than it needs to be. I can only think they designed it that way because they were worried about people over squonking but if that was a concern they would have been better off going with a proper top airflow design and shortening it.

I lost the little magnetic cover for the bottle today. It's so easy to come off that it fell off somewhere in the field. Luckily the bottle has enough friction to stick in there but it's just annoying. A flap or a door would have been way more efficient than a removable cover held on by two little magnets.
As promised, here is my top cap insert to accept a 510 Derringer drip tip. I made it as low profile as possible. I will shoot some black paint on the visible part and it should look "factory." - IMO, I need to send these images to Kangertech. They really should offer an option like this for the next version, as well as a proper AFC height.

So far, it seems to me that it is a $30 mech with a not so useful atty. still a sweet deal I think. Someone started a thread saying that it suddenly died on him after just one week.

It's a useful atty, it just isn't the perfect atty for everyone, myself included. There's a reason there are so many different style attys out there. If you've you've got four different types of BF attys already on hand, like I do, and lots of practice building and wicking, you're not likely to buy this rig for the atty. If you simply pitch the atty, it's still a good deal. If you like the atty, better yet.
Yeah... They don't put Anything on the O-Rings lube-wise. So when it sits for awhile it can get Stuck.
I like to use a Dead eGo when tugging on Atty's. I would hate to Wack the Threads on my favorite Mod trying to get an RDA Cover off.

Well, the voltage drops just like a mech. So yeah, at some point, the quality of the vape will drop off.
Got my Dripbox in this morning to use as a beater for work. Didnt even try the stock atty, my preferred squonking atty is the Nuppin so I threw that on instead. I think it looks pretty good on it, but Im partial
I do like the lightweight feel of this dripbox. I barely notice it in my shirt pocket.
I also like the ease of squonking with this bottle. While not as smooth as a Italian bottles, it somewhere in between the Reo bottles and Italian ones as far as squonk pressure goes.
Liking the location of the fire button, it just where it should be when you grab the mod and in perfect position to fire it naturally with your trigger finger. So they did do some things right.
I dont care for the magnetic flap holding the bottle, I can see losing that piece eventually. I agree some sort of hinged attachment with a magnet to hold it together would be a better option, so hopefully Kanger will make some improvements in its design of that.
Overall, for the money, I feel its worth it. I wasnt expecting too much out of it, just a work beater, but am pleasantly pleased with it so far. Now I dont have to worry about dropping high $$ mods at work so that in itself is worth it enough for me
Ross is correct. Minus the battery I can submerge all of my mechs in water, re insert the battery and it's fine. This gets wet and it's shot like any regulated device...

Yep, and the slip-fit connection in the plumbing located right between the two circuit boards does not give me the warm fuzzies, particularly since leakage there is likely to go unnoticed until it's quite bad.
The upside is no contact maintenance, and for folks who really want to run 0.2 ohm builds, that's a fairly compelling point
