I finally succumbed and ordered one of these things today after nearly dropping one of my CCs while on a ladder cleaning out my gutters. Should make a perfect yardwork beater. Hell, if I destroy it or it destroys itself, I'm not going to lose any sleep over $30.

And it is authentic. Cheap but authentic. I expect your atomizer will be more costly than this mod.

Oh the irony of one of Inswva's rare collectable atties on a dripbox....[emoji2]

Not mine. Lol

DIY triangle to RM2's cost me less than $10 each plus about an hour of my time. Too bad they are discontinued. That one was cut down for the drip well of a Reo Grand, but not necessary in this case.

Note however the bottle. I just did this and it appears to work, but time will tell if it has any problems. Took a Vapage bottle and reduced the height of the top to equal the stock Dripbox bottle and sanded off the threads.

It was a tight fit on the slide bottle cap in the Dripbox and I had to hold it and turn the bottle while pushing hard to get it to go on. Hoping that it will loosen up a little after awhile with the slide cap inserted.

Exactly why I got one did the same thing , except I was on the roof and my tmod slipped luckily the gutter caught it and not the driveway. I'm pushing this thing as hard as I can just to see how much punishment it can take hopefully it holds up till they release the v2.[emoji12]

Funny thing, but is seem to be taking the Dripbox combo with me when ever I need to leave me lair and leave the Steam Creave for indoor uses only.
When you stop thinking this as a badly done dripper with decent squonk box and start to think this as a aio-kit it gets thumbs up, though you might wanna rewick it leaving the tails on the center platform leaving the outer ring free of cotton.
I still wish Kanger would provide us with atty more suited for dripping, but as a aio-kit I can strongly recomend this, you won't be getting anything better for the same money.

a few pages back there was the threat of using tubing cutters to shorten up the top cap....has any one tried this yet

Keep in mind that whatever method you use to shorten the top cap..... that that ledge inside the tube needs to be completely removed to allow it to slide down all the way and contact the mod body. I suppose the purpose of the ledge is to make this modification difficult. :) I cut down the tube with a lathe and you need to remove all of that ledge. It could be done with a Dremel tool with the sanding drum attachment.

I've always wanted to try squanking unfortunately I'm poor lol! Well I picked up this little guy and like it but the atty is just... Meh... I've rebuilt it raised the coils and it's better but still kinda meh...

So... Any suggestions on a decent bf atty? Remember I'm poor lol... Family with kids so no money for me in the budget...

Any suggestions would be great

Thanks!

A lot of folks like the Velocity clone that comes with a BF pin.
I can't recommend it - cuz mine, the BF pin won't hold the post tight - it wobbles, so I've never built the thing. But seriously, I think it's just me getting a defect... Those are everywhere, for like $10. Here, on Angelcigs.

You could also keep your eyes on whatever Roscoe comes up with here on Apex....I think he's adding a few soon.
I'm running a Sapor from him on my dripbox - haven't even tried the Kanger atty yet.

I went to the local B&M today with 40 bucks in my pocket ready to buy.

They had them priced at 60 and 2 walked out the door while I was there.

I walked out empty handed.

I got mine from MVS and it was $34.45 Total with Priority Mail. I got it in 3 Days.

Kangertech Drip box Starter Kit

I have had it for about 20 Minutes. And I can see already that the Squonk Door is going to be an Issue. It comes off Way to Easy.
