king. In essence, yes. That was my original idea:

"A dream rda for me would be a replacement for the GGTS collector tank. It would take collector top tube, control ring, and cap off. Screw in rebuildable atomizer piece (that is small enough to sit inside of the collector) to 510/801 connector threads and be able to build dual coils. Replacement collector piece that would would have air flow control, and the ability to line up where my air holes are located and hold a drip tip of my liking. It would be simple, and turn the GGTS into the ultimate Hybrid Dripping machine."

But then I got side tracked trying to explain to Imeo some different ideas.

imeo is imeo

i think he dont want to pis you of he is only i like to say 1000% GG
its diffikuld for him to see diverend point of somethink what we easy see

.... hey when hi will be not like he is GG will not exsist

i am glad GG exist

another thought- a basic feeder that is sealed at the bottom so we do not run into any leaking problems.
I think ithaka could be the best dripper out there- it would have more capacity than any other and give a warmer hit too. You could literally flood the frickin thing to just below the coil.... which leads me to another idea. If there was a new basic feeder, you could make the base so that the coil sits higher up, allowing more juice to be dripped since we wont need adjustment for juice flow in drip mode

I like GGs also, but sold all my old stuff off and left myself with GGTS/ODY. He is not going to piss me off, I have other RDA/Mech mod setups that I really like. I am just trying to get across to him that he could create a simple RDA that would work with GGTS and be very small and that would bring me back into GGTS. Ithaka will not.

Imeo,

This is what your friends are trying to show you.

A replacement for the collector tank.
You can see the slots on the side for for airflow direct to the coil.
There is an inner and outer sleeve so you can rotate the outer sleeve to expose larger or smaller air hole to adjust draw.
When you are not using, you can rotate the outer sleeve to completely close the air hole and prevent any leaking.

What a view from bottom with brass positive pin would look like.
The whole deivce threaded directly onto JustGG telescope.
Positive would be insulated with from the negative with a delrin insert.

mhcah3.jpg

Here you can see the device screwed onto a battery tube.
There are 3 posts.
1x centre postive and 2x outside negatives.

You can also see the top cap on the right, how it is pushed onto the device and held securely with two orings.
You can also see the top cap is two parts, the outer shell is brushed and the inner shell is polished.
The outer brushed shell can turn on the inner polished shell to adjust the size of the airholes by overlapping.

A typical build, dual coils with cotton wick.
Good designs have a slight recess with a lip to hold more wick and more drops

Hope this helps explain what people are describing.

Here is Mark Todd's review

Definitely worth a watch because he explains better.

Thanks <---cop :D That's the idea, but of course GG, using the GG button because I like it more. The Valkyrie shown would be an awesome kit, but not for the $$$ asked, plus I heard problems with the switch. I know GG switch is reliable, comfortable, and fires easily, so want something like this RDA Hybrid due to size, but of course GG.

mit, the vapor is still warm because chamber is bigger but distance from coil is much reduced with this Ody mouthpiece. In another note, this mouthpiece doesnt get warm because it doesnt touch the rebuildable part
Imeo, but i think we run into one issue with the drip style top cap because by switching out the mouthpiece for an open chamber with a mouthpiece at the top, we now have an enlarged chamber and start to loose out on the signature warm hit of the gg atomizer. I think that we will need shorten the ithaka as much as physically possible for this mode, and also maybe use thick chamber walls to reduce the volume, a reduced diameter , or a combination of the two in order to maintain the warmth of the vapor.
What do you think?
If the top cap was milled to give just a couple mm clearance from the rebuildable section on all sides wed have a nice drip well and place to tuck the wicks along with a nice small chamber.

I just watched, and re-watched, Imeo's recent video "GG Penelope dripper at 30 drops of liquid" with interest, since I have just received my Penelope v2. Do I understand correctly that you can use the new Penelope as a dripper the way Imeo shows IF you have the Odysseus drip cap? If so, is it possible to get one of these Ody drip caps? I thought they were no longer being made ...

no, its not that king. Rogers says the same as me. The difference is on length. He wants to reduce the length of GG by removing CT and lid. Where I disagree is that we have to make side holes and side holes is a proven failure on the amount of vapor they produce. They cant be compared to bottom air feeders like GG atomizers

2 reasons king and the first one is very important

1. I find flavors dangerous for several reasons. My wife is a chemist and we talked a lot about this issue
2. Analogs had a specific flavor and I want to keep it that way with e-cigs. Also flavors makes me feel cloy and I dont like this feeling
imeo can i ask you why you vape only base without aroma i can not understand this and i now only you doing it

Thanks a lot cop:)

I knew what rogers said and my response is above. I dont want to lose vapor just to make a smaller construction. Maybe this thing vapes better but only because its dual. If we had a dual bottom air GG , it would vape better of course

I don't agree. You are limited on the amount of airflow you can get with the current bottom airflow design. There are bottom air hole versions, like the Immortalizer. I can get a ton of vapor from side air holes and dual coils, and flavor is good or better depending on build. There is no convincing you it seems, but you really should try a recent style RDA to see what you are in fact missing for dripping style rebuildables. I was basically of the same opinion until about 3 months ago when I gave it a try. I was more then happy with genisis atomizers, and occasionally would use my Ody. But after building a newer RDA style, I am basically hooked, and haven't vaped much else since, GG or otherwise when I am home.

I found what I am basically talking about and it will fit on my GGTS, if I decide to keep it. The Enigma Hybrid is GG threading compatible. The atomizer threads onto a GG top tube. I won't link it here out of respect, but will just go this route since you won't build something like it for our GGTS/JGG. You should google it, as I think you may find it interesting as it fits GGTS and JGG.

Not a happy GG vapor :( was hoping you would be willing to build it specifically for GGTS/JGG

be happy Roger like you always were.
Ok, about those rda you are talking about. Are they made for lung hitters? If no, then you need small holes to let air pass, yes? So this rda has 2x1mm holes in the side of the body, yes? And it vapes ok? Are you sure about that?
