There are many suppliers that offer VG only liquids. Nobody's tastes the same. If you want to drip with VG try a different supplier. Click "Forum Suppliers" at the top of the page.

Ya I know, I actually prefer PG myself. I got this one that was 100%VG just to try it. Honestly It didn't work well on LR306 for dripping, but it might have been just the flavor. I cut it down with some Absolute Vodka and its working like a champ now. I'll stick with at least 50% PG for they way I vape.

jons...if you are getting a mouthful of juice it isn't going down to the atty ! Blow like on a pop bottle gently...you will hear a sound diffrence of blocked vs. cleared. Give if a couple of seconds after it is cleared to run the rest of the way down then vape. See if that helps....

The alcohol thins the VG and also gives a tiny bit of TH.

this happens when i clean them sometimes. make sure they are totally dry if you are cleaning them. even blowing out water or alcohol i have had no heat action from the coils. let it sit. i drip a 510 and sometimes i need to (after cleaning) drop like 2-3 in, burn the atty a few secs, then blow out the juice. i call this priming it (i dunno, lol). then, 2-3 more and vape. if that doesnt work the atty could be busted. hope it helps.

Could this be done straight on the atty (without a drip tip)?

Yes, but the atty can get kind of hot on the lips. You can use an empty cart - just remove the cart, drip, then replace the empty cart and vape away.

To the OP - do these attys produce vapor with a cart & filler? If they do, I'd be very surprised! Sounds like you got a bad batch of attys there.....the only time I get the symptoms you describe is if the atty is wet with water, the atty is dead or dying, or the atty is very flooded.

It also could be the juice...have you tried different juices? From different vendors??

Exposed atties are best for dripping. I actually dip n' tip and get amazing results. Stick the exposed atty down into a 5ml juice bottle (it should fit snugly into the neck with no leakage), invert the whole lot for a second or two, vape! With this method, you'll get optimum soaking of the atty and enough embedded juice to be the equivalent of a whole analogue. It's mega-easy too.

Jon,

I've been dripping now for 3 weeks and it took me a week to figure it out. I'm using a 510 and I use 100 %VG for stomach reasons.

In the morning when my attys are dry, I start with 4 drops to prime them, let them sit a minute and then do 2 drops and puff. Then, the rest of the day, I drip ONE drop only. I get about 6-8 excellent HUGE puffs that way. I drip again when the taste gets funky. I take off the drip tip when I do my drops. I tried dripping through my tip and ending up sucking juice and vaping a dry atty and coughed and sputtered:)

My method produces ungodly amounts of vapor. It's a pain to drip every 7-8 puffs but I don't mind. It keeps my hands busy:)

Lori

P.S. When I used 2 or 3 drops, it was leaking around the atty threads and I had sticky fingers and low vapor. It was also making "gurgling " sounds from being flooded. You should never hear bubbling that doesn't stop while inhaling. I hear a lil sizzle off and on during my inhale but never gurgling.

Jons,

I am new to dripping with a manual battery. I was dripping with an auto battery and it was easier at first because I was only doing a drop or two at a time. When I got my Riva 510 on Thurday, it came with manual batteries. I put about 5 drops in it and couldn't get anything but juice in my mouth (the juice tasted pretty good, by the way). It wasn't until after I played with it for a while, that it started to work. I drained all of the juice I could out of the atty. Then I used only 2 drops. I held the manual button for about 5 seconds. Then I let it sit for about 15 seconds. I never put my mouth to it during any of this. I then pressed the button for about 2 seconds, applied my mouth and gently puffed for about 10 seconds. I didn't get much vapor at this time but, I did get some. After that, each puff produced more vapor at only about 5 seconds of draw. I got about 5 good puffs and it started tasting a little burnt. I added another 2 drops at this time and puffed my puffs until it tasted burnt.

Once you get it down, it becomes easy. Getting the process started the first time is the difficult part. Just remember that you don't want to add more unless you first got vapor.

My first thought reading your original post is that you are flooding it. If the atomizers are good and you are getting no/little vapor, it typically means you have flooded it, especially considering the number of drops you say you are using. To get going, blow it out good and do a dry burn a couple of times, then drip 2-3 drops (no more) and try. Here's a rule of thumb that I've personally noticed.

Very little/no vapor=probably flooded or bad atomizer
Very little/no vapor but a burn in the throat=flooded for sure
Lots of vapor but no taste or a burnt taste=needs more juice
Excellent taste with good vapor and a feeling of satisfaction=just right

I think for now I am going to give up on dripping... I just pif my drip tips... Thanks for all the advice yall

Maybe try some kind of juice box or other mod so you can have the flavor of dripping w/o the hassles. My pump mod holds juice for ~3 days and every puff is nice thick 80% VG vapor like it was just dripped.
