That Is really pretty. I can see the wood grain. mIngs are all I like/use. Have them in every color....Most of my "fancy" custom DT's were made for me by Brian at DTD. But they were made for the Euro toppers I ran on the PV's and are very long retired along with the PV's and their toppers. One of them is wood, was my first and last wood DT.
Here's a JTT I bought from Jerry about 2 1/2 years ago though, but never used. I found out that the Ming Thing is not my thing with a couple of them I also bought from Cherry vape, a Steam Punk that I tried once, and a camo one I didn't where part of the price was donated to Vets in need (only reason I bought it). I thought this one would have been great for Halloween at the time. Have 5 "black" Reos, if I was into the ming thing all I'd need is an orange door and button to go Trick or Treating.
I see that now. I think I had been looking at the Utile Woodvils up close too much. Thought I could see the grain. The bottom pic totally looks acrylic... Ha.
Thanks Jif! Yeah, Jasen does real nice work. I love how he can get the CA coat to match perfectly with the oil finished woodies. I've been looking at those low country mountain man tips as well. They look really nice!That compliments the mod so well. I love your rig there. Really really nice.
