I was Surprised with how fast healthcabin.net delivery was. I ordered on Sunday, it shipped Monday and arrived Thursday from China it was insane. I have spoken with Amy at healthcabin and she is shipping me a new atomizer tomorrow and once I receive the new I ship out the old one to one of her associates here in the US. I totally got a bad atty, my 901 is producing 3 times the vapor as my 601 and I am bummed that I have to wait to really enjoy the 601.

My first atomizer died after about 3 months. I contacted Runyan Direct/Heaven-gifts and they will replace it for the cost of shipping since it is under warranty for a year. This is very cool. Makes it definately worth ordering from them.:)

Sailebao informs me that the atomizer lasts about 20,000-30,000 puffs so three months is about right. The 1 year warranty fron ruyandirect is great. I will be sending back two atomizers next month for replacement.

I would suspect a bad atomizer. Could be the switch of little PCB inside. Someone reported this several months ago and ended up getting a replacement atomizer. You could try knocking it a few time to see if that corrects a physcial problem.

Not related, but of note, I did order several batteries from a US supplier that did not work with my atomizers. I would puff 5 or 6 times and the LED flashed like the battery was dead. Each battery was fully-charged. I ran through four batteries that would not run the pipe properly while all my batteries from HG worked perfectly. I never did figure out what caused this behavior. I do know there is a saftey cut-off in the 601 atomizer that shuts power down after 12 or so puffs in a row, but I doube this was the problem in my case.

Breakfastchef, question, as you seem to know your stuff on the dse-601.

I bought a used unit (with new mouthpiece) this week but it did not have the manual in the kit. I reference how to run the cleaning cycle and learned how to do that, but don't know how long it should run or how often it should be done. How long and how often should this be done?

BJW - When vapor production gets weak, generally in the 20-30 day range, you can run the manual cleaning cycle for 20-30 seconds, let cool and repeat again. Remove the mouthpiece and cartridge for this process. After you reprime the atty, the first few puffs will be fouled from the burnt e-liquid remaining in the atomizer.

I downloaded the owner's manual from somewhere. I will try to PM it to you.

Great! Thanks dude! :)

This e-pipe is now my vape of choice. Strong and gives great throat hits and vape production. I'm sold to it now. ;)

BE SURE to leave the DSE601 in the DRAINING POSITION at all times that it is not in use!!! Get a small glass jar like the kind you get iced coffee in when purchasd at the supermarket, such as a small Starbucks jar. Leave the DSE601 sitting in this jar, mouthpiece facing down. When storing it for more than an hour or two (overnight storage), do the same but also with the mouthpiece & cart removed. Follow this advice and you won't get it all clogged up. Fail to follow it and you probably will have a nasty clog behind the atty sooner or later. I presently have 3 DSE601 units, so you can trust what I'm saying.

I am having 2 issues...

1-If I tighten my jewel cap even a LITTLE too much... it gets STUCK ON! I cut my finger open trying to twist it off before I finally decided to put it in the freezer to see if it would shrink the metal and unstick it (worked, but not always gona have a freeer!). Any suggestions?

2- I am getting ZERO vapor after 10-15 puffs. When I check the cart it is still moist just not soaked (for example.. it only takes 2-3 drops to top it off) but I get NO vapor at all. Anyone else have this problem? You think the hole drill in back will help this to free flow of liquid?

The lack of flavor kinda sucks... but it is a very soothing device. Does feel nice to hold and puff.

Thanks, jboze. I checked it out and it has some useful info. I think I will save for the Ruyan. I am sending my 3rd 601 atty back for replacement. Heaven Gifts is great for honoring their guarentee but am getting tired of having to have them replaced about every 2 months. I also like the 5 year guarentee on the Ruyan.

Wow, I see I'm not alone with this crappy DSE601. I've sent back three too..
