This is without a doubt the best ecig I have used. I initially got this from puresmoker after being pretty disapointed with 3 DSE901B "mini". I have used this product for a two months now. I currently have 18 atomizers and all of them still work, 4 of them seem to have diminished but they are all draining now, I experienced dimished vapor quality after about 1 to 3 weeks with these and then I let them drain out for a week standing by themselves and they revive themself back to as good as new quality, 10 of my atomizers are from heavens gifts (ruyandirect.com) and the other 8 are from puresmoker. The batteries are not that great, they last about 4 or 5 hours with good quality vapor if I am vaping on it consistently. I prefer to use USB passthru battery anyway which I use most of the time. I have not had an analog since I received this product as a 1-3 pack a day smoker for 15 years (since I was 12 years old).

Absolutley Jeremy--the 801 penstyle is by far the best unit. I have tried most evey device there is and the 801 can not be beat for cartridge and battery life. I consider the RN4072 atomizer (the 801's) cousin to be a failure compared to the 801 as the draw is to hard and the burn rate is to high on the RN4072----Sun

My first pen was the RN4072 from PS and I love it. Had a prob with atomizer but all is well now. I got a backup DSE801 and noticed there is a diff in the draw. Between the 2 I like the harder draw because it seems I get more vapor. I also have started repacking the carts and if I put a little more stuffing in it works better and much longer. I can get about 90 min on 1 cart that way. I'm happy with the batt life. SO much better than the Pilot, my very first ecig.

Idaho--make no bones about it--I loved the RN4072--but the short lifespan of the atomizer is in fact unaccetable for me--That is why i retreated to the 801-----Sun

Love my 801, but three atomizer failures within the month makes them seem less than optimal. That and finding atomizers is (currently?) difficult, to say the least.

Finally found some at a reasonable price even if the color is "Army" (camo) rather than black. Hey, it is better than going back to analogs :).

Ordered a 901 for a backup and will probably get a Titan and then perhaps...

Don't want to go back to analogs, God willing my in-the-pocket-pols of big parms and tobacco won't force me to supply them with money for the graft by outlawing them :-( and forcing me back. Sigh...

Any one try the bestecig be112 pen style? I Bought the Be112 atomizer for the lady pipe....but it jut doesn't work very well with the lady pipe. I want to buy a Be112 penstyle starter kit. But wanted some feed back.

EDO--I purshased 100 of these and they are fantastic--just like the original 2 hole 801, with a lighter draw and a lower burn rate. Going to use the 100 RN4072's first as the RN's fail quckly--so go for it without a doubt--great shipping time from China to--10 days door to door---Sun

Sun Thanks for the response....can you help me out by answering a couple more questions. I was very satisfied with the lady pipe....but after burning a switch and three atomizers on it in four weeks....I have to find something else. Sun don't you have the mini-pipe? I love the taste it produces and how you don't have to top off and drip with it constantly. How does the bestecig penstyle compare?....Do you have to constantly top off and drip with them? How is the taste? As I said before I have the Bestecig atomizers....and have used them on my minipipe ....taste is terrible. I figured that is because they weren't designed for the type of battery that the minipipe uses.

Very enlightening review - I've made up my mind and will get a couple 801's in the morning supplier has a shipment due) to add more variety to my arsenal. One thing I'm wondering about: how is the 801's vapor production and vapor feel in comparison to the 901? (Which I really, really enjoy - battery and cartridge life is obviously an issue for me with the smaller item.)

I got the BE112 from Best and David Yang's 801 to compare. They are definitely not the same thing, the Eastmall 801 is slightly smaller, but the parts do interchange. My question is which of these are really DSE801's if, indeed, either of them are? Does sanyone know? I want to load up on 801 parts, but am a little tentative since they really are two different devices with different characteristics, but have not had them long enough to make a judgement on long term quality.

As for a review - the BE112 has, to me anyway, a more natural draw. I like it a lot, but the primer taste in the atomizers where - how shall I put it? - overbearingly awful. It took two days to get them to taste right, but once broken in, I stopped bringing my 901 to work. The "all day" cartridge size made a huge difference to me. My real gripe with the BE112 is the battery take some getting used to.

The EastMall 801 tasted better faster and seems to have a better throat hit. The battery is better than the BE112, but the atomizers are about the same.

I also got a mini-pipe at the same time. It is really a lot like an 801 in many ways. But the real difference in my experience is the taste. The mini pipe taste (with the same carts and juice as the other pens) was more vivid and it feels more natural in my hands. It will definitely be part oif my long term kit, but boy does it look fruity. I used to also moke a pipe in addition to analogs and it is far smaller than any of my regular pipes with the exception of a corn cob and far uglier.

Hi fatman.....I had the same experiences that you have. I don;t have the penstyle but I do have a lady pipe with the original atomizer and the bestecig penstyle atomizer. I did a coke dip with the bestecig atomizer and got rid of the vile taste. But even now the taste with the Lady pipe was much better with the original atomizer. Tobacco flavors just taste so bland with the be112 atomizer. Do you agree with that? How about the the vapor? With the lady pipe it seems to me that produces much fuller pipe like vapor. The bestecig produces more visual vapor but your don;t get much throat hit...and you don't don't feel it in your mouth. How does the david Yangs penstyle compare to the minipipe in these departments. The only reason I am thinking about getting a penstyle is that I have killed one pipe switch and 3 atomizers in a month. And the swithces on these things are expensive....you have to get a whole new set.

I got my penstyle from puresmoker (I think someoen said this is a 4072?). I had a penstyle that I think was from David Yang (bought off Lintz) and it had a nice smooth draw.. but very light feeling. This has a VERY hard draw and STILL a very light feeling. TOO light. I almost can't fee the vapor! Maybe I am doing it wrong? I try to draw slower but still have to pull really hard and I get a lot of vapor.. but only feel anything with the menthol... I feel none of the other flavors (just taste them slightly on the exhale). Cutoff is short soI can't get it hot enough to feel the vapor!

I want so badly to like this as much as everyone else likes the penstyle.. but I just don't get it.

Any hints?

Spikey--I made the same switch as you and found the issue was with the cartridges--the 801 has a larger diameter cartridge hole--slight but noticable. The cartridge for the RN4072 that you had would be a loose fit in a 801--not fallin out loose, but loose. I bought some blanks from Johnson Creek that I was never able to use in the RN4072 as they were to loose, but when i got the 801 atomizers I whipped them out and bang--Get draw--so take a look at the cartridge fit----Sun

I was having the same "light vapor feel" with dripping! That is why I was concerned.. but I think I may have just broken it in cause it seems better now.. and the short cutoff was cause I got juice on the battery connection.. but I dried it of and it seems ok. I don't know how people drip with these.. they leak SO easily!

Spike -- I gave up on trying to drip with my pens--floods them and runs into the batteries and passthoughs----also to deep to get the juice on the bridge--so I hear you on that one---Sun

I just ordered a bunch of 801 atomizers from David Yang. I read quite a few posts giving these a thumbs up. The ones I have from PS are working quite well. Only 1 failure in 3 months. I got a shipping/tracking email from David in less than 8 hrs. from placing my order.

Who is David Yang? Could you please post a link? With the abysmal failure rate on these things I'd really like to have a source that had that kind of recommendation :).

Thanks *VERY* much!
