I made up a kit and sent it to a friend. Included was a 1-page write up I did on how to use the charger, try diff flavors, yada, the usual stuff; the questions I had when I started. She's not often "online", but I did include the URL in my write up.

So, I get a call from her: "What does it mean when the end flashes and nothing comes out?"

DUH, I neglected to explain in my write up WHEN to charge it!
She'll be back in vapor shortly. :D

She thanked me and my wife greatly for sending it, and says in 4 days she's smoked less than 1 pack of marlboro's.... when she was a 1+ Pack/day smoker! I hope she gets online. :thumb:

I think the forum is almost as important as v4l products and service. You nead both to get through those first few weeks/months. I've given alot of mini kits out and I found that if they don't make the effort and get involved, all I hear is excuses on why it doesn't work.

Mmc, what you say is SO TRUE. This forum is invaluable in the beginning, and my experience has been similar to yours - if they don't make the effort, they usually fail. And then blame everything under the sun as to why. At this point in time, unless someone approaches me, and unless I'm sure they are willing to do the work, I don't even both trying to explain or share my vaping supplies. It's just not worth it.

Plarknjr, sounds like your friend is on her way to winning the vaping war. You're a good friend.

Yes! The ones that stick in my craw immediately think all PVs are equal, and think they know something about it after buying a gas-station disposable PV. "Yeah, I tried one once," they say, and not much more as they continue smoking.

Certain others with rechargeable PVs don't even know their issue may be a minor one they could fix in a minute if they only knew how. Some people aren't inquisitive, or they have the misconception that this thing we all do - requires no maintenance.

If someone is interested in vaping and really wants to kick the analogs, they'll do the work. If not, they will blame it on anything.

I guess y'all have too many "imports" there in FL. Come to Texas; hear it all the time!

BTW, shameless plug..... my friend is the operations director at Animal Angels Texas ... kind of the "last stop" for unwanted dogs. She has managed to rehabilitate over 300 dogs to roam freely within the sanctuary, vs being cooped up in pens: labeled dangers to themselves and others.

Awesome! She is a wonderful person, and lucky to have someone helping her thru the gaping world. I love dog rescuers :)
