I am using the 2.5mm. Tried the 2.0 but it was a little too tight for me. We are on opposite sides of the MTL spectrum. I read a post on FT where the guy was talking about restricted DL with the 2.5 but I only use it for MTL. I set up everything I have with a 2.4-2.5mm center airflow.

I am the same kind "MTL" person...I hate very tight draw... My Dvarw is on a way from China. What coil builds (inner diammeter /number of wraps) gives you the best smooth/flavorful vape on dwarf? Are you using Kanthal or SS? How Dvarw compare to your other RTAs?

I am using 26ga Kanthal. 2.5mm inner diameter with 6 wraps. Comes out to about .75ohm. I use Natural cotton for wicking.

I am going to give TC a go but probably mid week when I have more time (wife is leaving town!!!). I bought some 28ga 316L SS. Will be using the same diameter but 8 wraps instead of 6. Should also come out to .75ohm.

I really like the Dvarw. I put everything else away at the moment. Favorites before this were Hurricane V1.2 and Nebula Wine. Also have Ares, Hastur MTL, Siren V1, Siren V2 and Skyline. I have had a number of others but got rid of them. Plan to get rid of everything but the Hurricane, Nebula Wine and Dvarw. I think I like bottom filling (less leaking). A nice thing about the Dvarw is that there are no press fit parts. Those always end up leaking at some point. Flavor is on par with hurricane and nebula wine. Only one that I have that has better flavor IMO is the Hastur MTL.

I got mine today. I was wrong in my earlier post. The top cap screws in place on the Hurricane. On this rta the top cap that closes the chamber is only held in place by an o-ring (which is on the top cap itself). The o-ring on that cap is not tight enough to hold it in place when you unscrew the base. It may sometimes hold and sometimes not. It requires a fatter 0-ring to lock it in place. When I have time I will go through my collection and see if I can find an 0-ring that will work better. Other than that on my first build I like the rta. It gives a warm vape cause the chamber is tiny but it is a very good mtl rta. No leaks so far. I did opt to use one of my own drip tips just my preference. It will use any standard 510 drip tip.

I take tank, turn upside down, grip the top cap and ultem tank as one, unscrew the base and bottom fill.... Nothing comes lose. I'm not getting the issue but I'm a visual learner :)

I will try to get a picture later, but mad here right now as in the process of trying to sell our house.

But think we are filling different ways, and your way is better, I am unscrewing the whole tank, as in if you wanted to rewick, but next time, I will just unscrew the ultem tank part only ;)

Obviously I don't have the original to compare but I am sure the o-ring for the top cap has a tighter fit then the clone. This is simple physics. There are two o-rings on that top cap. One on the inside to hold it in place and the other on the top rim of that cap to fit into the indent in the main tank when you screw or unscrew the build deck from the tank. The stronger fit of the two o-rings is going to win. The solution is to put a new o-ring with a tighter fit on the inside of that top cap. The alternative is to just live with it. I don't really find it such a big deal. I like the rta so far. The ability to change the airflow insert to personal taste is a big plus. I am using the 1.5mm insert and the airflow is very smooth and very quiet. The flavor from this rta is excellent due to the very small chamber.

Someone suggested putting a smaller (7 mm) o-ring on the top cap so that it will not get stuck in the main tank. Will try that when I receive my 7 mm o-rings. We are overthinking this issue as refilling works whether the top cap sticks or not. Everything seems to go back together fine as well. Never had one drop of leakage from any of mine. Not really a big issue.

I think that most of us are taking the base from the mid section rather than just the tank portion. Tried it both ways and you get a bit more juice in the tank the first way but not very much. Maybe TexasToolman's approach solves the issue.

I did say, it works fine even if it does stick, have no leaking, so not bothered to try and solve it :)

Somebody snap a pic... I'm not following what is getting stuck. I'm not having any issue taking off my tank and refilling.

Here you go, the top of the bell stays on the tank when unscrewed, but again, it does not cause a issue for me
