Not sure how you are filling it but I can get over 5ml into my 5ml version. I am unscrewing the base from the mid section. The top of the chimney stays with the mid section. That is what allows me to get more than 5ml into the tank. If you are removing the top section from the mid section, you will not get a full fill.

Thanks, Toolman. I opened a ticket to see if I can add to the order since it hasn't shipped. I don't want to do an order for $3.11. But I don't think they do that....they know I'll go shopping to come up with a few more items I may "need", just so I can order those. The longer I've been vaping, the looser my preference for draw has become. At least sometimes.
And I may just have to order another SBody Macro DNA 75. I've come to love how small and light that thing is...amazing for only $50.

You can cancel your order, and refund to a gift certificate.

Then place a new order and use the gift certificate. I've done it a dozen times... easy, peasy!

I'm right there with you on migrating to a more open draw. I used to vape exclusively MTL for the first few years, but lately I'm finding myself moving towards more open air, restricted direct lung atomizers (or even full blown direct lung atomizers). No particular reason, other than just evolving preferences. It does put a dent in the wallet though, as I find myself replacing devices that used to be in my daily rotation that I'm no longer reaching for :p

Yeah, I don't know what it is. Sometimes, it just seem like more work with a restricted draw...and at times I'd rather control my own pace, rather than have the atty do it for me. Been using the SXK doggy almost exclusively, and may have to order the SJMY to just see. Maybe I won't like it, and the vape won't feel right - but you never know until you try.

And maybe take Toolman's advice, do that, and add the other doggy to the new order. If tomorrow isn't too busy to handle it. Been crazy lately.

Lol.. I am missing this section when reffiling... I am changing the o ring on top chamber so it function just like original (the top chamber came with base when reffiling and not stuck on tank anymore). Great idea tough lol

Ordered the 3.5 today, so I'll test it with syringe when it arrives.

My arrived today. I am vaping it now. I ordered many different options and started not with standard 5 ml tank but with optional 2 ml. Flavor is much better than on my SXK Doggy... and draw is exactly what I like (I started with 2.5 mm insert)... very similar to my Siren 2 when I use it almost fully open...my first build 2.5mm ID kanthal came to 0.8 ohm and I vape at 11 watts. Building is very similarly challenging for me in regard to secure coil leggs and tiny distance between post when you mount coil close to AF hole... wicking is relatively easy... I have also ordered Coppervape Silver 316SS Oval Hole Chimney for Dvarw Style RTA
Coppervape Replacement Oval Hole Chimney can be helpful for very high VG juice and bigger coils but did not tried it yet... and standard with two small round works so far very good... I will try oval together with standard 5 ml tank. First impressions are very good... 2ml tank is the same height as doggy and has the same simplicity appeal although I prefer look of mostly glass on doggy...

Blasphemy !
Definitely for me, Dvarw puts doggy down for flavor... Dvarw is as flavorful as the Prometey RTA, which was almost too intense. All subjective, of course, but this is one of the most flavorful MTL RTAs I've ever had of the dozens of high-end/low-end atties I've had over all these years.

Yep, if you filling by removing just the tank, can't fill to capacity (I get 1.5 mls in the 2ml tank).

If you fill via the method @ian91 describes you can get another 1/2 mil or so in there.

I have found that it is getting more flavorful the more that I use it. Definitely a great RTA. People who won't try it because of the bottom fill are missing something special.

Well, count me among those that bottom fill was a bad thing....until I tried the doggy. Can't wait to give Dvarv a try.

I have followed the Doggy thread for a while. Definitely is popular. I thought about it but decided not to try it because of only holding 3.5ml. I chain vape so the more I can get in the tank the better.

I also chain vape and the Doggy can keep up. The capacity is not a problem because the Doggy is a real miser when it comes to the juice.
