I have the CV version and use it in my rotation daily. I really like the vape. Try as I might I have not found a real solution for that top cap sticking and coming off most times when I go to refill. I have tried to ignore the problem but I have found that if you just leave it in place, stuck to the tank, it sometimes messes with the cotton or rayon in the build as you go to reinsert it. I have tried replacing the orings with other slightly larger and smaller and it has not worked. That seems to create problems of there own. If it were not for this problem I would rate this tank as almost perfect as a mtl rta. As is it is annoying. I am going to go out on a limb here and suspect that the original does not have this problem?

I have been using 4 of these at a time for the last 6 weeks. The top cap sticks virtually every time I refill but have never had an issue with it screwing up the wicking. You may have too much wick in there. It really does not require a lot. I kind of like the top cap sticking as it allows more juice into the tank and I can see what the wick looks like on each refill. I definitely rate this as the perfect mtl tank.

Found a very annoying problem. I am using 0.8 mm airflow now and its seem there is some air leaking somewhere. The air licking is seem around the 2 screw at base (two screw on deck which make 2 pieces deck tight together) It seem the screw is not vacum enough to do air tight. So when you draw beside the air came out from 0.8mm hole it leak on the other location too. (I hear bubble every time I draw, very little gurgle) Anyone have same exp?

T for Texas!
I have a number of these and have had no air leakage at all. I am using the 2.5mm so a lot more airflow than you. All I can suggest is to take the base apart and make sure everything is seated correctly.
Running flawless for me with 1mm insert. No leaks, gurgles, dry hits. Absolutely one of the best RTAs I've ever had... and I've had most of them LOL.

Hey bud, born and raised in the DFW area.. small world!

How is the great white north?
Where I am is beautiful. Live up the hill from an 85 mile long lake surrounded by mountains. Don't get the heat like in Texas which is really nice. Relatively mild winters. Can't complain.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. Was almost about to pull the trigger on the original, but decided on the CV as I thought my local shop was getting the blue Dicodes Dani Box Mini. Unfortunately it’s still not there, but my CV Dvarw is, so as soon as I come home I’ll do a clean, coil and wick session. The anticipation is killing me. :w00t:

Okay, at running the risk of sounding like a teenage girl… OMG, I love this thing so much!

Interestingly there really is nothing special about this tank. In all likeliness this might be the most boring RTA out there. But it just works. It’s simple, it’s tiny, it’s functional and I’m loving the crap out of it.

I didn’t even have to change the inserts I ordered with it, as the 1,2mm AF insert already fits my style/taste. I did, however, change to the oval-holed chamber ring, as I only vape high VG liquids.

I just need to find a fitting 4mm bore drip tip. The one supplied with it is okay and feels okay, but is a bit too long for my taste. I don’t like those ridiculously long oldschool MTL tips (sorry oldschoolers, I love you guys, but just a different floats-mah-boat).

Building on it is super easy. Went with an 2,5mmID 8 wrap 0,32mm 316L running at 16 watts, 210°C (or about 420°F I think). Yumyumyum, tasty vapes.

So, yeah, I’m definitely going to pick up an original (or two?). Thanks to y’all’s comments (yes, I love Texan contractions, please don’t shoot me ) I am a happy vaper. :rickroll:

100% agree.

old school is the new school.. everything is coming back around :)
You couldn't find a new MTL tank 2 years ago to save your life... now we have a TON of them. Bring on that long drip tip that gives the extra flavor kick ;)

Seriously, I don't like the drip tip either, its not a looker for sure.

Iv been reading along for a few days and intrigued but wonder if the DL version would satisfy me as a restricted DL vapist....

You all keep peaking my interest....
The MTL with the 2.5mm insert would be considered restricted DL by some so will depend on what you mean by restricted. I use the 2.5mm myself but consider it to still be MTL. The DL comes with 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm and 4.5mm inserts. If you don't find something that satisfies you from those, you could try the MTL with the 2.5mm. The inserts are not interchangeable between the MTL and DL which is too bad. I ordered a DL just to see what it is like but I plan to reduce the 3.5mm insert down to a 2.4mm to suit my vape style.

Cheers for that, sounds like I'd prolly be in the latter DL category at 3mm+!

Finally got around to ordering one $17.48 Dvarw MTL V3 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 3.5/6ml / 316 stainless steel / 24mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I think this is the correct one for DL, and looks like the Lysen, same as on 2fdeal...

Was spurred on a bit by FT looking like it will take (and probably not pass on) the new 10% online shopping tax our corrupt ...... government is enforcing starting on the 1st of July...
I don't live in the US so the tax is not an issue for me. I still wonder how an online shopping tax can be enforced for purchases made outside the USA? How do you get a China seller to collect a US tax? That sound crazy to me.
