I'm gonna have to quit watching that video. The more I watch it, the more irritating it becomes. The beginning with the "icky"....like she is picking up a dog turd or something. The doctor going for applause with his ban everything attitude...

Honestly....I understand about exposure....but when that exposure is the TV equivalent of the National Enquirer....I would rather not have it. On the otherhand, the The Doctors program is a good video and exceedingly more supportive of our cause.

Just wondering....is the Dr. Vapor in the video a few pages back, a member here at the forums? Is it Dvap....or is that our resident chemist?

Just trying to keep my experts straight.... ;) :)

I do think he is part of the forums as he has mentioned being here in one of his other videos but his username I don't recall if mentioned.
I just do the youtube for his stuff. And good stuff it is.

She's worried about the "chemical solution"....and how icky it is...

Someone show her a list of chemicals that the makeup artist trowels on her face before every show.

2nd! My personal expertise is in skin care and makeup products. I know alot of people who are suprised when I actually explain what is actually in them and what all that stuff in the ingredients actually is. (and why)

Ironically, this is why I had no issue with the fact that juice is usually PG based. I was already very familiar with PG and VG due to the fact that they are very widely used in these products.

I really find it funny how people seem to think "natural" somehow is better than "chemicals". When it all comes down to it they're all chemicals and "natural" is not always better.

Great info and love her or hate her at least it was on a show that gets massive exposure. Did anyone else notice that she started holding the ecig like someone that 'used' to smoke? ;)

I DID notice that, and she looked mighty comfortable holding it like that, as opposed to the over dramatic "yucky" hold she had on it earlier in the clip. My reaction in fact was "She actually looks quite comfortable holding that thing in her hands."

Yep.. I'm the "resident chemist", as they say. Though member "Kurt" fills the chemist role as well. I'm out in the industry, and I think Kurt resides more in academia.

As far as Dr. Vapors take on "banning one you're going to have to ban the other" I didn't get the impression that the doctor thought that was an option. I felt he was saying there's no way in hell they are going to ban cigarettes so where do they get off thinking they can ban e-cigs. Of course my perception could be a little skewed by wishful thinking and logic.
Dr. Vapor did make a good point about the comparison between the two associations. That was pretty messed up and I didn't really catch it the first time around.
