Just been chatting to wayne(Heaven Gifts) and if you buy of him direct and not through ebay. he can sell you a starter pack bling for £25 or a second bling just the tube and led cap for £17:57 thats with shipping these are awesome price's considering what ruyan sells them for!

so kit, you need to have a complete second tube if you want a second atomizer, ie there is no replaceable atomizer on the bling, its connected to the casing right?. anyone know about the link-back at the bottom of this thread, the poster's crazy name links to: ÔÚÏß°ïÖú - ECͳ¼Æ±¨¸æ (ÎÒÒªÀ²Ìṩ) maybe i just need to install chinese characters or something, but whats with this site?

Yeah thats right DC but these bling's last for a good 3 months then you just send them back when tired and they send you a replacement so it not that bad!
Buy 2 blings and your sorted for the next 5 years with replacements. now thats one hell of a vaping expenditure plan.

every device i try has that one niggling issue and the one for me here is that the liquid used is of the variety that dissappears apon inhale. still though i've used a disposable and it didnt bother me too much. i still get the throut hit, which im all about especially on the lash. and you can just mouth it when you need to show off. also its good for clandestine toking. still cant believe ruyan will gurantee a 5 year warranty on a piece that goes for £17 sans batt. what madness is this? so therein lies the clincher. if i had a wife and kids they would be starving right now. might just do this.

can anyone who is familar with the generic clone of this model cite much differences? do you get the 3 month life-span also? not that i woud buy one now, but just wonderin

i tested one ruyan and two cheap e cig copies side by side for comparison..

the magic of the emperors new suit never really worked on me.. the ruyan seems to run the atomizer cooler than the two copies and didnt produce enough vapour.. neither did the two copies but they produced more than the ruyan..

both the ruyan and the two copies will last me for months.. mainly because none of them work as well as a generic 901 and i dont use them..

i did like the ruyan fluid cigar taste (i still do) and bought fifty carts to syringe..

using the fluid in a device that produces real amounts of vapour (an e cig pipe at the time) it irritated my throat and gave me a cough.. i had to stop using it..

so kit loves it.. i just think its a wimp with nice tasting fluid.. no real "bling" for me..

as for sending one back for ever when they wear out.. i doubt it.. dear Mr Ruyan.. my cigar dosnt produce much vapour any more.. dear customer we at Ruyan believe in being "discrete".. your ruyan cigar isnt meant to produce clouds of vapour its meant to be like that.. he he..

wayne tried to kid me with "most of our experienced e smokers move on to ruyan products in the end".. kinda stuff.. he also suggested i try the throw away cigar.. but however nice the throw away product is.. its way to costly for my daily e smoking..

Well, the throwaway died a couple of hours ago and smoked well up to the quit point. Fell away to nothing in a fairly short time. So I got about half a week out of it. This won't do as a lead device but will be very good as a 'spoil myself' piece on a night out. Might get two or three nights out of it.

This was my first e-cigar and I'm sold on the concept. Good hand feel and I like the way it can go from vapour powerhouse to invisible depending on whether you mouth or inhale the vapour. Think I'll give the bling a try and maybe a couple of DX cheapies.

Can somebody confirm Ultrafire 10440 batts and chargers (DX SKU 00973 & 974) are cool for use in Ruyan and cheapo cigars?

DealExtreme: $4.32 Ultra Fire 10440 3.6V 500mAh 2Pack

DealExtreme: $12.58 Ultra Fire 10440 14500 Ac Charger

Thanks

Hey DC

Pulled it apart (gently at first, then with increasing violence). Nothing left in the cart and no juice in the battery either. The shell will make a nice stage prop, or a case for a supermini (I may just have invented the e-russian doll). If it's any use, the battery is a Forte 3.0v 4/3A. Model number is CR16670.

fairly amazing that both the att and batt conked out at the same time. my batts still cookin i'll check the stats when i take mine to the operation table also. you reminded me of a story last year or so where mel smith who was playing churchill at an edinburgh fringe festival production was insensed by britains anti-smoking measures which meant he would have to make do with a plastic replica. apparantly much of the plot revolved around churchill and michael collins being adament chain-smokers. this would have been perfect.

hey trog, the generic bling also uses a liquid which disappears apon inhale? does it taste like a cigar or just regulat tobacco like with the pen-styles? also are the carts interchangeable?

My bling from Heaven Gifts has just arrived this morning. That's eight days from China to the UK. Not bad.

£37.90 including postage with twenty five cartridges and five year guarantee. The only problem I can see if it makes a good vapour is that the cartridges might not be a nice flavour and if I can't refill with my own juice.

It's charging now, I'll give it a go soon.

I've been told that these are the batteries for it Emp - DealExtreme: $4.32 Ultra Fire 10440 3.6V 500mAh 2Pack. Apparently the charger that comes with the bling will work with them, you don't need to buy an extra one.

So trogs not bling happy but he never seems totaly happy with any of the devices right T theres allways some problem.
Theres no way the 901 is a better device for satisfactory smoke than the bling yeah there might not be as much vapour but there is ample have a look at rats review.
when you smoked cigarettes was it about how much smoke you could see no it wasnt it was about the nicotine hit!
Even on exhale mine produces vapour the 901 is like smoking air in comparison to the bling.
And the guarantee is kosher dont not what trogs trying to say there ? matttys allready sent one back because it was tired wayne replaced it straight away!
Everybody ive talked to on here who owns one only has good things to say about the ruyan each to there own i surpose ehh Trog.

I totally agree with you Kit. The 901 for me personally gives 10 good drags then drops off. I do not know how anybody can compare a cigar to the 901 even a Generic pen style walks all over that.
But I suppose if somebody has received a faulty or not fully working to its full potential might give the reason for some people's attitude regarding various electronic cigarettes.
The reason I stated this above is when you have several of the same model which I have had you realise the good from the bad and it is easy to make a misjudgement as I did when first trying certain models instead of checking them out for a few days. I would go like a bull at a gate when first trying for the first time moaning and groaning and slagging it all off.
So now when I try a new model I don't rush to share my experiences as quickly any more. Plus another reason is I am sick of sharing my experiences and some people slagging me off what I have said when they even ever bothered to put their money where their mouth is like I have done and even bought and tried the products.

"Not being funny or jealous but hope kate chokes on her bling..." You're right Ted, you're not being funny ... ;)

In fact I nearly did choke on it, it tastes disgusting. Totally yuk!!! I don't know if I'll get used to the flavour or not but at the moment I've got my fingers crossed that I'll be able to refill cartridges or drip my home made juice. In fact the Ruyan cartridges are so pukey that I'm not even sure that I'll be able to squeeze and dilute them. I smoked cigars occasionally and liked them but this taste is like smoking an old cigarette ...., it's an old, stale taste. Not like cigar to me at all.

There is a decent amount of vapour so far (it's new so that might be factory prime), not tons like an epipe but comparable to an ecig. If you inhale there is no vapour on exhale with these cartridges.

Kate this is how the cigare liquid is supposed to perform that's how it was originally designed to work but if you top the cartridges off with your own choice you will find it will produce more viper anyway.
What mystifies me is all the fuss regarding vapour in general. Did you all watch the smoke from your real cigarettes all the time and not bother or realise about the kick. But I am not trying to be rude when asking this its just my observation

i guess its no different than the tobacco world then. i'll do a bensons or a camel, but a johnny blue is cardboard for me. for others its all they'll smoke. never been too choosey though i must add. i've been known to pick the butts from an ashtray and roll the remains. gross, but i got my fix. i remind myself everyday, that going through all this effort to stave off the fags has proven to me how pathethic an addiction to nicotene really is. i think it will be easier to come off the EC's rather than the realers though.

I enjoy the vapour, it's one of the ritual parts of smoking that I would miss desperately if I just used an inhaler.

You're correct Ned, the vapour isn't meant to be inhaled with ecigars, I just thought I'd add that feedback for anyone interested. It will be handy for people like Nazareth who want something to vape discretely while out and about.

Well your the first who has said they dont like the cartridges i think its just to strong a taste for you like your pipe was !
And you can get exhale vapour if inhale slowly.

The taste of the pipe wasn't a problem at all, it was the volume of vapour and the awkwardness of it, it was heavy and the mouthpiece was too chunky.

The taste of the bling cartridges is definitely not for me, I'm using my own mix in a squeezed cartridge now and it's much better. It's 'smoking' well, tastes nice, vapour out with my mix. Much, much better to me. I like the draw on the bling, it's nice and easy and it produces a good amount of vapour without it being overbearing.
