Ughhh John you're advertising... I don't think I've even seen anyone else put their method in their cig. JMO... I luv ya but I think you should leave the method out.

My sig (same here as there) does mention e-cigs, insofar as I say how much I've spent on supplies.
I reckon John's is okay, it's a bit less "militant" than before.

That reminds me of a funny college story. Years ago I ran a large campus network and we were building out a new Engineering department. It was storm season and the power was knocked out of the building, the building deisel generators failed to launch, and power was dead.

Students are pouring out into the hallways like a sweatshop bust.

It's PITCH BLACK. There is NO power, emergency lights are barely adding any visibility.

This one student goes "I think it's just the UNIX workstations that are out."....

I looked at it in the dim dim hallway and said "Because the rest of your computers run on will-power?".......

No we're not, I've even got a kitty cat avatar! (We're gonna buy her a heated bed to see if it helps her arthritis, it's coming on to winter down here.) I can see snow from my lounge room window.

We're coming on to summer and I can still see snow from my front window. Actually one of the ski resorts here is going to re-open tomorrow for "summer skiing". They still have over a 100" base. Winter was indeed long this year.

After doing some soul searching I made a post that may or may not get me banned from the other board... it depends on how Fred takes it and how tough he wants to be... If it does get me banned and gets deleted and any of you want to read it I saved a copy so I can PM it to you because I felt it needed to be said.

Yeah would have to agree on that point. A moderator would have stopped the rot weeks ago when it first got out of hand. I agree there was a bit of biffo from both sides, however it did start with the comments on Johns post and then escalated from there.

Sure in hindsight should the ECF members have toned it down a little? Perhaps, but they were only commenting on what THEY believed in and supporting another member who was being demonized. There was NOTHING written anywhere in the rules that it was a QUIT NICOTINE board, nothing.

It is a quit smoking board and really who really gives a crap how you quit SMOKING as long as you do. Is it really that hard and difficult to understand?

I have 4 children who are ecstatic that I have quit smoking. Do they care if I vape? No, they are more interested in following me around trying to guess what flavour dad is vaping today.

I was on Pomegranite this morning and my 15 year old swears that it smelt just like grape pop-tarts. I'll keep my vapour, she can keep the pop-tarts. I reckon I have less chance of getting any kind of disease from vaping than people have from eating pop-tarts. Who the hell knows what is in those

The response you got from Fred in your thread still has me confused. Are we or are we not allowed to say quitting smoking should be the primary goal? That you should reduce nicotine at your own pace, and not to worry if you're not concerned with total abstinence?

I hope DC2 will get a response to his PM that clears things up.

Yes, I am here....have been for a long time. I did nothing wrong but respond to the ignorant posts over there. I am sorry that you feel I didn't accomplish anything or help but that's your prerogative. I think and speak for myself....don't follow the "mob mentality" over there OR here. Also, I didn't get a warning from Fred so that should tell you something.

Your 100% correct ( but you knew that ha!) I'll take that as a Great Complement. I can't help it. It's my lot in life. It's my job. I don't know where it came from, but I'm o.k. with that today.
