Moved on to cigars (Panama) after I was in hospital for a long time at 28......Just thought I'd try one when I came out of hospital.......After all......One wouldn't hurt would it........

5 days without tobacco now and as long as I dont run out of liquid, no intention of going back now.

I'm 36. I started smoking at 18 when I was at university. If I'm still smoking normal cigarettes in December I'll have been a smoker longer than a non-smoker. That's a scary thought. e-cigs look like the perfect fix for this.

I'm 21. Starting smoking at 16 when some blond broke my heart. Quit smoking last year (tobacco anyway ) but oh how I missed smoke rings! Since I got the e-cig a month ago my girlfriend says it's "glued to [my] hand". Man I wish I had this when I quit last year. I went cold turkey and just kind of avoided everyone and everything for two weeks. Now I'm back in the smoking section with no fear of picking up a paper cigarette.

Started smoking at 14. I'm 27 now. Just got my ecig last night, and have only had 3 cigarettes since then.

33 started smoking at ten, got asthma at 11 and diagnosed with copd 2005, stopped smoking for 3 days and the copd magically disappeared.

I am hoping the e-cigs help me quit nicotine addiction for good, while in the mean time getting a good throat and lungful of that glorious smokey vapour lol

started to smoke at 13. I am 45. took chantix stopped Nov 07, that makes 32 years. omg!!!! I never tried to figure that out before! the quit only lasted a few months...then I found ecigs. Haven't burned a ... for over 2 months. thank God for ecigs.

Been lurking for 3 weeks, just got my Janty on Monday. Been smoking since 16, now 46 and up to 3 packs a day!!! Today with e-cigs only smoked 1 pack, that is a big difference for me. I have hope now but afraid the FDA will get involved in this matter with e-cigs.

I'm 25, and have been smoking since I was 13. I swear, when you join a band, it all goes downhill. Especially when everyone else in the band is over 21. That was a rough couple of years for me.

Anyway, I'm expecting my DSE901b in the mail today, but received my "Super Cigarette" on Monday. I haven't smoked an analog cigarette since.

Started smoking at 11, usually by 'borrowing' one or two from my mum's pack when she went out to the shops ( she never smoked outside the house ), my dad never smoked. I normally start with a couple of cigs with my morning cup of tea, during work I stick with roll-ups, back to tailor mades of an evening, the occasional cigar, and I've even recently started smoking a pipe ! Usually justifying it to myself that my trade is far more harmful to my health ('m a welder) than my little 'hobby' ! Well after nearly 40 years smoking (50 years old at the last count), I'm finally starting to believe there could be a way for me to cut down on the tobacco-burning, thanks to the e-cig.

Back in 1967 when I was 9 my mother caught me hiding in the coal shed puffing away on one of her cigs 8-o

She sent my father out to buy the biggest cigar he could find with the intention of making me smoke it until I was sick

I didn't get sick and have not stopped smoking since -
