The worst of it was this teeth-grinding statement by NCs State Health Director: "Don’t be fooled into thinking an e-cigarette is a safe alternative to smoking, or a sure-fire way to quit,” Engel said. “There is no scientific evidence that either of those assumptions is true.”

Maybe North Carolina is losing too much tobacco revenue and that is why there are so many misleading articles about ecigs coming from this state. All we can do is respond to these ignorant articles with information about how flawed the information is and the benefits we have reaped from converting. Maybe it would be wise for many of us to make a form letter of our own we can just copy and paste into the comment area of these articles
to save time and keep our own facts straight.
