I've been vaping at work for over 2 years... Today an HR person saw me take a drag (didn't even blow any vapor out, held it in as she came by my desk) and asked what it was.

When I told her, she had sort of a stunned look on her face and a few hours later my boss calls me into his office stating that they're no longer allowed in the building.

It is what it is I guess, but it pisses me off. Anyone else have their vaping rights taken away? I know it's probably legal to do so, but damn...

I know it stinks, my work is in the process of going smoke free and they are including e-cigs with tobacco products. They want us to sign a paper saying we won't smoke on property, including e-cigarettes. I have not signed it yet. I may refuse too and see what happens. The day they announced it security was walking around telling everyone and they made a point to look at me and say "This includes e-cigarettes." I was mad to say the least.

That's ridiculous! Not even on the property?

I believe that I'll be vaping everywhere I can where no one can see me. The best part about e-cigs is that you can't tell 10 seconds after you use them, even in a closed room so good luck catching me next time, HR!

I believe there are stealth juices around that produce little to no vapor if you hold it in for a second. Can't see them being much different to All PG and no VG though!

Well that policy goes into effect this Great American Smoke Out Day this November, including Ecigs. My contention is hospitals have had similar policies for a few years, but if you walk to the other side of the street you are able to smoke, vape. We are not allowed to leave company property during the shift....no way to vape leagally. Now there is the stealth mode.:p
