I recently got a Pilot Hybrid, and at first I thought my batteries were faulty because they were staying on constantly and working on and off. I got out of my car and noticed the light was on and my atomizer was extremely hot! 8-o

Then after letting them sit inside at work for a while, they both worked fine again. Then I got in my car and one didn't even work at all!

So I did a test and turned up my stereo in my car (I have a 03 SRT-4) to regular listening volume, and the pressure wave from the subwoofer (10" Kenwood, not very powerful) causes my Pilot to light up and stay on as long as the music is playing! My NJOY and DSE never had this problem, but I think it's funny how sensitive the Pilot pressure switch is that my stereo could do that. Even at normal volume with the subwoofer on the lowest setting, it sets it off!

So if you are thinking of buying a Pilot/M401 but you like loud music in your car, get a DSE901 instead! I don't know if mine is just a freak and is extra sensitive, but both batteries do it. :D

EDIT: Steve @ PureSmoker just told me the Pilot pressure switch uses an electric switch that is 100 times more sensitive than a pneumatic one (like DSE). I guess it all makes sense now!
