yeah some of you are freaking crazy LOL. I've never been to a prison but I've had friends there.
I've been to town & county jails, and I've been to my state's juvenile prison for 1 week.
You all act like inmates get nothing they can turn into a weapon in a regular prison lol.
Unless your arrested for a felony, grand larceny, rape, murder, murder attempt, heavy assault...
Your allowed to have a radio, a television, a guitar, anything approved by the warden that can be ordered.
It depends solely on your prison's warden and state laws on the books.
YES you can smoke in some American prisons. YES you can use the internet if you get library passes.
It ALL depends on your own state's laws and the warden/board member's restrictions and allocations.
If the prisons were like most American's IDEAS of prison, there would be suicides every single day.
Especially you conservative asshats that think the prisoners should get bread and water if it saves you $10 a year
With all of that said- Aren't the Njoy Kings made out of a thick cardstock paper now? I don't really see a problem with the prisoners getting those with the old atomizers and prefilled carts. But it just wouldn't work or be allowed in tosay's system unfortunately. The prison would be held responsible for attacks on people for their filled cartridges just like they are today for attacks on people for their tobacco. They are trying to phase out tobacco use in prisons as it is, and I'm sure that they would sooner ban e-cigs than switch to them. Thats just how it is. Also, many of the prisons that allow tobacco use are the same prisons where the inmates go out to work the tobacco fields. Since e-cigarettes have no ties to US tobacco farmers, the state has no interest in allowing prisoners to spend their money on the e-liquid. So I dont think prisons are "ready" for e-cigarettes. At least not in the state our prisons are in. Unfortunately a lot of prisons ARE closer to the ideas that those a**hats I mentioned above think/want them to be in. The prisoners personal rights and liberties are restricted to a dismal and dehumanizing effect. This is true in florida, and TEXAS prisons *famously* unfortunately. For instance, the TX federal prison's warden even has his male inmates dress in pink uniforms + underwear on a daily basis to deliberately humiliate them. The Juvinile prison I attended only gave us 2 hours of outside time a week, 1 hour on wednesday and saturday.
