I completely understand what the OP is saying. I've now purchased 90+ bottles of juice. Of those, I have one I enjoy and perhaps 2-3 more that I can tolerate. My super sensitive nose and tastebuds have *really* gone into overdrive since I quit smoking. Even as a smoker, I could smell things most people didn't notice.

Ah well. So it goes. ;)

Newbs,

You might want to try the DIY juices. A lot of time when they pre made juices are bad, it's because they over did it on the flavorings. I have ruined so many bottles of juice by making them too strong or adding sweetener which leaves a bitter aftertaste. Making it yourself gives you all the control and I've learned to go lightly with the flavors. No more caustic flavors:)

I agree, I taste things like you do. I have very few juices out of over 100 that I like.

Elixirliquid.com - double choc. donut - this tastes exactly like it. Could use a couple more drops of donut - heavy on choc. taste. Best tasting choc. flavor too that I have found, Their Vanilla Custard - tastes just like it. Awesome. All their flavors are strong. Am ordering some of their other ones.
MisterELiquid - French Toast - this tastes like French toast, can even taste the egg in it, not too sweet.
Vapesafe - Apollo's Apple - Cleanest freshest tasting apple juice I ever had, w/hint of maple and vanilla. Also their Ripple Effect - orange w/myriad of other flavors.
Vaperite - Rou's toasted hazelnut tobacco = excellent, but I don't get much tobacco flav out of it.

Your right about the sample sizes. How ignorant is that, that alot of vendors don't sell those. With the thousands of vapers out there, let them try them and they will buy more if its a quality juice or suits their particular taste.

I can't be the only one out there with a receptive palate? Are you one of those who can taste the difference between Coke and Pepsi? Is your palate sophisticated enough to decipher the difference Bud and Bud light? Can you taste the difference between regular table salt and sea salt?

I can't believe there aren’t any of you out there, why are you keeping quiet about it? Why aren’t you saying anything about it!

Time to speak up folks! Frankly I’m PO’d about the money I’ve spent on e-juice which has great reviews, only to get it and find it tastes like a handkerchief soaked in old perfume or a lab test gone wrong.

I’ve given these juices the opportunity to prove themselves; I’ve dripped, dropped, aged, used them in carts and tried them in carto’s only to be disappointed finding the flavor still tastes chemical to me.

All I expect is if you say the flavor is such and such, then it should be the flavor you’ve described. I don’t want to order a caramel cream flavor and get sweet warm milk with a chemical aftertaste.

I’ve watched hundreds of flavor review video’s which brag about the flavor being right on. I’m suckered into buying the flavor thinking I’m going to get what they say…the same chemical crap flavor comes through over and over again.

Just spent over 50 bucks on sample flavors from one supplier; each one has the same flavor…can’t taste any difference in the flavors; top note is the same chemical/perfume flavor for each one.

Out of the numerous suppliers I’ve tried I can honestly say only 2 come close to the flavors they proclaim. Both suppliers use organic/natural flavors. Even though they use organic and natural flavors some, but not many of their juices, still have the hint of perfume, chemical flavor; not as much as others, but that pronounced flavor is still there.

Please educate me; what is it that most suppliers are using that has that awful chemical, perfume flavor? Is it because they are buying their flavors from the same supplier? Are they all starting off using the same mixture or percentage of mixture? I know I’m not the only one out there tasting it; time to speak up people!

Please don’t respond saying I should mix my own flavors…I don’t want to, I have better things to do. I simply want to order a flavor and get what I’m asking for. Am I wrong here? I can’t be the only one out there who’s feeling the same way? Am I?

I'm having the same problem with e-juices. Peppery taste, soapy perfume taste, chemical taste. I have yet to find a juice I really like. The tobacco flavor that was in the prefilled cartos that came with my first e-cig (the SafeCig) has been the only one I liked, but I've moved on from the Safecig to an eGo and the prefilled cartos are too pricey.

Original Tobacco flavor from LiquidXpress is "ok" but I realize I'm only tolerating it because it's the only flavor I have that I don't hate. I've also tried the Carnilla Cap flavor from LiquidXpress, but only in the prefilled cartos and it was nice, sweet vanilla / caramel flavor and might order a bottle of the juice.

I got a bottle of Chocolate Cream from Liberty-Flights when I ordered my eGo and it smells and taste like buttered popcorn....

I've ordered samples twice from FSUSA because of all of the wonderful reviews and don't like any of the flavors, most of them have a odd peppery / spicy / jalapeno taste, especially the tobacco flavors (RY4, RY5, Max/Bro, American Spirit, New/Port, Wyatt Earp). The sweet flavors taste perfumey and the mint flavors (thin mint and peppermint paddy) taste like old chewed gum and metal.

For example, the FSUSA RY4 on inhale taste like sour / sweet heavy mixing cream, and on exhale taste like Jalapeno!
The Wyatt Earp tasted like perfumed soap and Jalapeno. Max/Bro taste like perfume. Espresso taste like a dirty rag with old stale coffee.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who is having problems with e-liquids.

I'd LOVE to have some recommendations from those who have the same experience.

give bluemistvaping.com a try. also give tastyvapor.us a try.

I had to jump in on this and say I have tried about 40 juices all which have been said to be top notch...Well...YUCK is what I have to say about 95 percent of them :( I found 2 that I like and 1 that I love, love which is an everyday vape in the am for me (Carnilla Cap. from liqiuidexpress) if you love sweets and coffee you might just enjoy this as well. I also love cheesecake so I am now avid maker of my own juice thanks to loranns flavoring...do yourselves a favor and download an e juice calculator and give it try it may be what makes your mouth happiest :)

It's a good thing to understand that most people that are reviewing liquids are not certified or to be honest, qualified in any way. I see a lot of people that do a liquid review and praise a juice and say how amazing it is. Then, 4 posts later they admit they have only tried 3 juices... lol. I've also noticed a lot of people tend to give a juice moree favorable reviews depending on how the customer service was. I'm not smoking a vendor, I'm vaping their juice... I think there are some key things that are frequently missed in most reviews.

1. A clear palette. That means no cinnamon flavors for at least 24 hours, no other "destroyer" flavors (can't give a timeframe because I don't vape other "destroyer" flavors. Also, a cracker and a clear atty before testing the juice.
2. Compare the reviewed juice with other juice so people have a reference to follow.
3. let the juice steep before testing.

Bottom line: Don't trust juice reviews. The FAR MAJORITY really have no idea what they are doing. Go with the popular juices that have a good overall reputation. Here are some of the most popular vendors with some personal recommendations.

Backwoods Brew - a lot of people like the tobacco flavors. Their flavors are more subtle than most other vendors. I've heard a lot of good things about their casablanca blend.
FreedomsmokeUSA - a lot of juice to choose from and great fruit and accurate flavors. They do use diacetyl however. Try the gummi bears (spot on taste) and the strawberry twist (my favorite fruit flavor by far). They are also very popular for wyatt earp (not to my liking).
Vaperite - organic line is very sweet and tasty. Juice is very thick (even at 50/50) however. Try the organic caramel cream for a sweet creamy caramel flavor.
Ms. T's Bakery - tons of juice and great options. Some of the juice I have tried here is amazing some is absolutely terrible. Try the butterscotch caramel chessecake.

Good luck!

Thank you for the recommendations everyone. I'm a bit weary about spending more money on flavors. In the past month and a half that I've been vaping I've spent MUCH more on e-juice and equipment then I would have if I just was smoking analogs. I know if I can find a liquid I like that in the long run it will be cheaper.

Agree with the Carnilla Cap from LiquidXpress. I've only tried it in the prefilled cartos but it is VERY yummy, and it's the only sweet juice I've liked out of the many I've tried. I can't see this as an all-day vape for me though, I need a tobacco flavor, but it's a really nice vape at night and helps with my sweet tooth.

By the way I wanted to add something about seeping. I understand that some juices are better over time, but personally I don't have the money or time to wait. I'm on a budget, which is the main reason I decided to try the e-cig because buying analogs was killing my pocket. If I can't vape it right out of the mail then it's useless to me. I'm not looking for 100 favorite flavors, just a handful of favorites that I can depend on.

I now have a huge stash of samples from FSUSA and I don't like any of the flavors. I'm sure I'll keep going back and re-try them all, but if I end up loving a flavor that I have to wait weeks for, it's just not worth it to me. I mean, can you imagine when you were still smoking analogs if when you bought a pack you had to wait a few weeks to smoke them?

In defense of My Freedom Smokes (NOT my freedom smokes USA) I am extremely pleased with MFS.

As someone who has lived with blindness for some 20 years now, I have learned that my other senses are heightened including my sense of taste, hearing, smell, and touch. The one thing that can mess up a review for me is when I am sick or when I am going through a Lupus flare as I have Lupus (SLE) and Sjogren's Disease.

Also, since I stopped smoking analogs, my sense of taste has improved even more dramatically, which is great because it enhances my ability to taste-test various coffee beans I grind and then run through a high-end espresso machine. I can taste all the nuances of the bean such as quality, bitterness/non-bitterness (won't touch Starbuck's coffee w/ a 10-ft pole b/c the beans taste burnt from roasting; they roast the beans entirely too long, which gives that burnt flavor), undertones, overtones, and any particular flavors like fruity, nutty, and hints of flavors like cocoa, etc...

There are flavors I don't care for at all though too. I don't like the Parma from TW or menthols. I have never cared for menthol and the only time I use menthol or a mint of any kind is when I am sick and that's usually in a tea or as a lozenge to help open my sinuses when they are stuffed up. Even now, I have spent the last 2+ months fighting an upper respiratory infection including infections in both ears as well as the inner ear causing vertigo.

Out of all the flavors I tried in the past (quit analogs completely as of July 7, 2009) the best have come from My Freedom Smokes; this is not to be confused with My Freedom Smokes USA... I don't like MFSUSA.

My Freedom Smokes, owned and operated by Chris at My Freedom Smokes. , offers extra strength flavoring, custom mixing tho' be prepared to a possible wait time as Chris mixes the flavors and tests them to be sure they are worthy of putting the MFS name on the bottle. He is also particular about offering varieties regarding nic levels, how much VG to add to the mix, and again, the option of extra flavoring. The extra flavoring is usually in the fruity flavors like Cotton Candy, Marshmallow, Black Cherry, Regular Cherry, Cheesecake flavors, and many others.

If I switch over to a different brand, I find something in the liquids falling short somewhere.

Now I have tried a couple of the Kick Bass flavors and the only downside I have found is the thickness of the liquid as it has a tendency to clog up my atomizers; hwr, with regards to taste, it's not bad.

TW has a few flavors I like but the expense of their products keeps me away.

MFS (My Freedom Smokes) has more than simply great flavors with extra flavor options and etc... They also have frequent coupon offerings that I pay attention for when I can afford to replenish my stock, with special regards to my staple liquid flavors such as Marshmallow, Cotton Candy, Black Cherry, Regular Cherry, Juicy Peach, Sweet Apple, etc... but these are my primaries. I ALWAYS do what I can to have a bottle of the Marshmallow w/ extra flavoring & 15% VG in 24mg along with a bottle of nic juice because I keep two (2) bottles of the liquids available with one having a stronger nicotine level than the other so I can vape a higher nicotine flavor when the cravings for the nicotine cannot be sated by the 24mg alone. The times I use the higher nicotine levels is generally 1st thing in the morning, after meals, when out drinking with friends or home with my glass of wine or mixed drink, and before bed. I also tend to use the higher nic levels when reading my audio books. I place a Braille bump Dot (available at online stores Independent Living Aids and Maxi-Aids) to press onto the bottom so I an tell one from the other.

As far as qualifications go, I feel I have that right solely because my senses are heightened. I do run across flavors I don't particularly like; however, I do include what the flavors taste like because even if it's not a flavor I would vape all the time, there is someone else out there who may be searching for that particular flavor and would truly love it but would otherwise not know about it if I hadn't written a review on it. If the vape is harsh, I include it; if it's too light, I include it. If the flavor is bitter, I include it. And, if I feel the juice is too thick or too thin in consistancy, I include that as well plus I write the company to let them know the faults I find in their liquids so they can improve upon it.

I have had the pleasure of trying a large number of various e-liquids over the last year and a half - plus... Out of all the brands I tried, I always come back to My Freedom Smokes and occasionally I pick up a flavor or two from Good Prophets that I like too. Kick Bass is another I have found a flavor or two that I like; hwr, the liquid appears too thick for me so I have contacted the owner with regards to this issue to find out if there is a way to customize the flavor so it is not overly thick. In my search for the best flavors, I found that there are companies out there who will and do listen to the public's opinion and tweak their liquids according to public perception. I'm sure if you find e-liquids you don't like, if you would only email the company, they would do whatever they could to make it right so you can enjoy the liquid(s) you purchased, IMHO. This has always been the case for me anyhow.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Paisley

PS: Again, My Freedom Smokes is not to be confused with My Freedom Smokes USA. The latter, IMHO, doesn't hold a candle to the former.

Whoa thank you so much Paise. I really appreciate you taking the time to write that.
I've always felt that I have a heightened sense of smell and taste, even as a smoker, especially smell... my friends always laugh at my "super smeller" because I'm always smelling something that no one else can smell. Plus I'm a lot more sensitive to smells too. I like onions, but I don't eat them because the smell makes me gag lol.

I've been analog free for about 5 weeks and my taste and smell is even stronger.

I placed a small order for some Dekang tabacco flavored liquids on another site. I know Dekang seems to get a bad wrap around here, but I figured that if I liked the prefilled carto that came with my first e-cig, then maybe Dekang is what was used in it. After looking at My Freedom Smokes I'm wondering if they too sell Dekang?

Thank you so much for your help and advice.

Me too, as far as sensitive sense of smell & taste. I haven't tried more than a handful of juice suppliers because quite frankly, I'm scared. There are so many variables to consider - hardware, nic level, PG/VG ratio, etc. I've watched & read hundreds of reviews too and you all are right - rave reviews don't really correlate with my opinion after I've tried it.

I use KR808s. I have a problem with tasting burny flavor with cartomizers too (even brand new ones - it's the heat, not a bad carto) but I've tried dripping straight to an atty and that's even worse so I use high ohm cartridges which don't get as hot for the most part (some juices seem to need the higher heat & don't work well in these). I also can't handle high PG juices because they make me cough, hack & gag as soon as the vapor touches my throat. So I figured I'd try "double flavor" to make up for the fact that higher PG juices have less flavor (they say). Seems to work ok with some of the samples I received (only one is good enough to reorder) but I think it may be a serious problem for others, if not used up at just the right time. For example, one of the samples is an apple pie flavor. Started out tasting like fried apples. Not bad but just ok. A week or two later, the pie crust flavor developed and I really liked it. A couple more weeks and now the cinnamon flavor is so strong that it tastes nothing like apple pie. Now it's simply red hots candy.

I don't want to DIY either. I never intended for this to be the hobby that's it's already turned into. It was supposed to be a replacement for smoking. I still have high hopes that the benefits will be worth it but I don't need to do any more fussing with it than I already do. I have mixed a few juices that I already have in an attempt to make them better & not waste them. One example is a 24 mg bananas foster (way too much TH for me) that tastes like everything bananas foster EXCEPT the banana but otherwise shows promise with some new 11 mg banana (that I'm hoping only needs to steep a little because although my husband says it tastes like banana pudding, I taste absolutely nothing but air on the inhale and nothing but air with a slight flowery aroma/taste on exhale). We'll see how that turns out.

So, that being said, where are my fellow "supertasters" finding decent juice? I'm particularly interested in those who like flavors other than tobacco/menthol (not interested in these).

Now, it's to the point of being ridiculous. Perfect example, we were at the mall today. I stepped outside to vape. No one was around but I could smell cigarette smoke. I looked around and could see no one. Curious, I checked around the corner of the building and walked out into the parking lot a bit. I finally saw the smoking guy, sitting in his car more than 50 yards away with the windows up.

I can tell what shampoo strangers use just by standing near them. I can smell all sorts of stuff that when I say, "You smell that?" I get looks like I'm crazy.

If that weren't bad enough, my tastebuds have *really* become sensitve.
I know there are chemicals in some juices because I can taste them. Now, whether the juices are made with chemicals, or if the chemicals from the plastic bottles leach into the juice, or if chemicals were used to clean the equipment that the juice was prepared in, I don't know. I assure you, the chemicals are present, even if in a tiny amount.

I have trouble using cartomizers for the same reason. When the wire heats up, I can taste/ smell it. I know 99 out of 100 people would have no idea what I'm talking about.

It sounds funny, but it really kind of sucks. Numerous types of foods, gum, drinks, perfumes, and the like are now off limits to me.

Ironically, that dang cigarette smoke still smells great, even though I can now identify the different notes of chemicals in them. *rolls eyes*

Ah well. So it goes. ;)

The flavors I refer to as my "staple flavors," which mean these are the ones I order each month or at least have a supply to use each month tend to fall within these rankings with most from My Freedom Smokes and a couple from Good Prophets (** I tend to stay away from the tobacco flavors, at least in the beginning, because I believed it would make it more difficult to give up the analog cigarettes; it could have proved true because I left the tobacco ones alone until well after my 1-year anniversary. I'm approx 5mos - July 7th, 2011 - from my 2nd year anniversary being analog-free!):

MFS Flavors:

Xtra Flavor Marshmallow 24mg
Xtra Flavor Cotton Candy 24mg
Xtra Flavor Juicy Peach 24mg
Xtra Flavor Sweet Apple 24mg
Xtra Flavor Black Cherry 24mg
Xtra Flavor Reg Cherry 24mg

MFS Custom Mixed... Cherry Tobacco 24mg where it matches as closely as possible the Sweet Dreams brand in cherry flavor...

Tutti Fruity is an interesting flavor too as is the Vanilla Cream and Kona Coffee but then again, Kona coffee itself is great; hwr, it's expensive or it was the last time I went to buy a roasted batch to run through my grinder (Rancillio Rocky Doserless burr grinder then Rancillio matching Miss Silvia Espresso Machine) So, the Kona Coffee e-liquid was as close as I could get to Kona coffee beans without breaking the already broken bank... just to satisfy my lattes and cappas in a cup vs an e-cigarette PV. :2cool: DH already thinks I'm a coffee snob but then again the only coffee we can agree is a terrific bean stock I grind in the Rocky Burr Grinder then run through the French Press. (I have a 3 cup French Press but want an 8-cup; $$ just aren't there to buy a high-end French Press in 8-cup and there's no need to waste a dime on a low-end French Press b/c all you get is a low-end coffee flavor.)

I think I'm more of a coffee geek; however, I will openly admit that I'm a wine, cocktail, and other various mixed drinks snob. It is not for lack of trying but this county does not possess a bar that has yet to have a bartender with the ability to make a proper Gibson and doesn't get me started on their lack of ability to make a decent Martini. I keep telling bartenders that Martinis, like Gibsons do NOT contain vodka; they are a mix of Vermouth and Gin. I get attitude at times to the tune of, "well how the 'H' do you know," and before their brains can get the thoughts out completely... I've already told them that the reason I know is because I spent a hell of a lot more time behind a bar than they have. Before blindness cut out my driving abilities, I worked 6 nights a week as a barmaid in this state and I worked as a floater between an aunt/uncle's 2 bars when I lived in Louisiana. I mixed drinks, poured whiskey, pulled draft, opened bottles without fizz overload (the trick is to place your hand around the neck of the bottle for approx 2 minutes before popping the cap. It's the heat from your hand that stops the fizzing over), and I managed to hustle pool for gas money on my breaks. No, I was not a "good girl," growing up but I will say this much, working as a barmaid in the right bar on the right nights, with the right clothes, and the right attitude, it's possible to earn more in tips in one night than you can earn in a week working in a factory or even an office when you're the underling without the seniority.

Occasionally, I pick up some Virginia Flue-Cured as it's the closest I can get to Virginia Slims without the menthol in it. That's the brand I smoked along with Sweet Dreams Cherry & Vanilla Flavored analogs before I switched to E-Cigarettes. Chris at My Freedom Smokes mixed me up some Cherry Tobacco like Sweet Dreams and after he sent a really small bottle of plain cherry flavoring, I added it to the Cherry Tobacco and it was practically on the spot of Sweet Dreams' Cherry Flavored. Best part too, I haven't craved a tobacco analog even with vaping the Virginia Cured, Sweet Dream flavored with tobacco so I'm doing well! Plus, it's nice to know I can order and use tobacco flavored now without fear of desiring analog tobacco haunting me, especially with that 2nd year anniversary coming up.

Good Prophets:

Juicy Peach
RY flavors are good too
They also have great prices on attys, particularly the mega-attys in the cylinder style for the Ego PV, and the drip tip collection is fairly decent but the stock is constantly changing with the updated website so I'm sure there will be lots more coming soon that will be worth checking into esp with the options for 3ml bottles to try to find out if you like a flavor before buying a larger bottle. I've always enjoyed that part of working with GP.

The Warm Sugar Cookies and especially Buttercream Icing by KickBass is good only it's a bit too thick. If I could thin it down without messing up the flavor, which I did with the warm vanilla cookies, they'd be GREAT! I love the Butter Cream Icing but I fear it's going to clog another atty and I can't afford to buy more attys right now.

I hope this helps you out some.

Warmest regards and all my best wishes,

Paise :)

Maybe you're expecting too much?

For instance, when I say a pear flavored juice tastes like pears, I don't mean that I can close my eyes and think I'm eating a real pear. There's no pear in there. They can't puree a pear, dehydrate it, and shove it into a bottle. It would destroy the atomizer. Aside from a few exceptions, ejuice flavors have to be done with chemical imitations.

In short, you're tasting chemicals because you're vaping chemicals.
The taste is close enough for me. I'm sorry it isn't for you :(

Why would you say that a juice tastes like pears if it doesn't? That's not very helpful to someone looking for a juice that tastes like pears, is it? If you don't think it tastes like pears, don't say that it does - tell us what it really tastes like.

I don't think we're expecting too much. Some juices come pretty darn close to tasting like the real thing without a chemical flavor. Others are just the opposite. Those who manufacture the latter should strive to be more like the former. Those of us who care about the quality of the flavor pursue it. If you don't, that's fine.

Maybe you're expecting too much?

I sure am glad you are on my friends list...lol....you got guts...and I like guts...tell it like it is.

All vendors should offer sample sizes. I feel they don't because they are afraid no one would come back and order from them. They wanna goose you in the pocketbook with outrageous prices and really don't care if you come back for more. I normally ask a question now before I order......have you tried vaping your own e-juices? If they answer no...I am moving on.

You are right about KBV (Kick Bass Vapor)....man, it is vaping heaven to me. After about 18 months of vaping, I have found Nirvana. Tell ya a story.........I don't like coffee much...once in awhile, I will have a cup...Missy put in a Caramel Capp sample in an order...she told me to just try it.........well, I fell in love with...re-ordered it and going to put in another order soon.....samples, she was confident in their product. Great Business Plan......

What have I started LOL! Love it, love it! Finally, I see people speaking up and admitting to not liking certain e-liquids. I knew you were out there. Very few reviews out there saying the juice sucks!
FYI, this is what I go through to test each new flavor I get; and I don't change the process any. I vape on an 808 and a 510. During the day or work on on a 808 PT.
My flavor testing; plain crackers to my side with a fresh bottle of water. Several clean atty's, clean drip tips, empty carts and carto's.
I first fill up a cart, then a carto and let them sit for a few minutes.
I drip test first. Clean or switch to a new atty, then try the juice in a cart. I note the difference if any. Yes, I keep a note book or a flavor diary if you must call it that...but please don't, and no jokes okay? LOL.
I then try the flavor in the carto. So in reality I'm trying it 3 different ways in what I like to vape. I'm not going to switch what I like to use because it 'may' change the flavor. Nope, not going there.
Inbetween each test I do eat a cracker and drink some water to remove any remaining flavor.
I do agree with others that hardward can make a difference. If you're going to test flavors than make sure your hardward is fresh and clean.
Here's another point which I find (for myself). Flavors do change between atty's, dripping, carts, fillers, and carto's. I don't want to agrue the point, but I have tasted a slight difference.
As for the crappy tasting liquids out there, some will not change with steeping. Like cheap bad wine, it won't get any better with time.

I do have to give credit where due. There is a pair of guys who do flavor reviews on YouTube (sorry can't recall their handle). What I do like is both will vape the same liquid; one will love it the other, not so much; and they both have different opinions. But who do I believe LOL?

I know it's a PITA for suppliers to make samples, but I believe more suppliers should offer sample sizes of their juice. Frankly I'm getting tired of paying for juice that won't get any better or wasting my time trying to trade someone for another flavor.
If I was able to try out several sample sizes first I wouldn't feel so bad about wasting so much money on full size ones. Too bad not many suppliers sell sample sizes.

Gotta go, food on the table. Enjoy your Holiday and may everyone have a safe, warm and peaceful holiday.

After vaping over 200 different flavors from different suppliers and/or creators, I have come to these conclusions:
1. taste is definitely a personal choice.
2. eating crackers between changing flavors makes each flavor taste like crackers and makes me thirsty.
3. drinking coffee between changing flavors is not necessary but tastes good and seems to put my tastes in a neutral place.
4. I need to vape a flavor for an extended time, using different hardware, and over the period of several days to get a really accurate assessment of whether I really like it, love it, or it's not for me.
5. if the juice is labeled a certain flavor, I expect it to at least give me the impression of that flavor immediately.
6. The juices I appreciate the most are the ones that give me additional subtle, complex flavors that keep me interested and engaged and enjoying the vape over a period of time.
7. price is only a consideration if great flavor and quality of vape are equal.

That said, I haven't tried all of the new juice creators. I have tried several flavors from each of the ones who have been around for a little while.
I find trying out new flavors to be fun.
I don't resent or find suspect anyone who has given high praises to a juice I don't end up caring for.
I really appreciate the little PIF bottles that appear in my purchases and/or trades.
I don't believe anyone can discover the perfect juice for anyone else.

My all time favorite vapes are from the Totally Wicked Decadent Vapor line of juices.
My newest great find in flavor and quality is from mister-e-liquid (lemon ice & green van).

OP - thanks for starting this thread.

THESE. Mostly red text! It takes a good length of time, most certainly.

My join date was in November. I will have been vaping for a year March 7th. Can't go by a join date. But my taste hasn't changed that much that I can't taste purfume.Either you like the juice or you don't. We are different. Thats all. Just because you are a new vaper does't mean you can't taste between good or bad. Juices I didn't like when I started , well I still don't like them. Some of the most raved about juices are some of the worst for me. Just shop around untill you find the ones you like.
