I recently got some extra innards for my E2 Apollo tank, and the first one I put in the tank registered at 3.5 ohms on my ProVari, where the original measured at 2.5 ohms. At first, the new innards misfired a few times at 4v and then it started working but was a bit weak so I pushed up the voltage to 4.5v and it worked great for about half a tank. Today, it started gurgling bad so I cleaned out the 510/eGo adapter which had quite a bit of juice in the cup, and put the tank with the adapter back on the ProVari. After that, it won't fire at all and I didn't hear the usual pop/click that I get when I bake a coil. It just stopped working.

Has anyone had an issue where the coil on a clearo read really high resistance and then stopped working prematurely? This is the first time I've run into this issue. I do have it soaking now and I'll be taking it apart to inspect the coil once it clean.

Also curious if anyone knows where I can get a good 510 extender that would allow this tank to sit flush on a ProVari? The 510/ego adapters I have work, but it leaves a good gap below the tank. I also have a 510/510 adapter, but it's a short and unsealed adapter that won't make the connection beneath the skirt of the tank.

have you considered stacking two 510 extenders? You can try a few other vendors some sell shorty 510 and long 510 extenders.

delewarevapor I believe have a taller 510 adapter or I use an ego adapter, hope that helps, I really love my apollos, they do gurgle sometimes but still a great tank, my favorite to be honest

Thanks! I saw the modder's 510 connector at AvidVaper, but the longer one at DelawareVaper looks more promising and they have the modder's version as well.
