sometimes when doing the ptb mod, you have to be careful when you pop out the wick, that you don't pull the coil to one side or the other, its pretty easy to do. If you do and don't notice it...when you replace the inner cup, if you put the circle lip back down the same way you took it out, the inner circle lip can sit directly on the coil and burn up first hit. Just keep an eye out that your coil is centered in the ceramic cup. if its not just push it over with tweezers.
