I have 2 reg mods and a mech mod and a pod that I won here. One of the regs doesn't work anymore, and I don't use the pod anymore either. The 2 other regs and the 4 or 5 RTA tanks I have I bought from fasttech. I have gotten my batteries from a couple different vendors, but the past few years have only been using LiionWholesale. I have gotten my liquids (flavors and nicotine) from MyFreedomSmokes. Early on, I bought some hardware (eGo type batteries and a clearomizer or two) from them as well. I can't really recommend any particular hardware or software, but hardware-wise Eleaf and Innokin are to mod name I'd recommend. The 4 or 5 flavors I sometimes use come from TFA, FA, and Flavor West.
I buy from Fasttech here and there. If it's in stock in the U.S. for a decent price I buy here. My Freedom Smokes is a good, reputable dealer that usually has most of what you'd need.
I buy most of my stuff from the internet...What do you mean by "platform"?
It depends on what you want to buy. Batteries? Wire? Wick? Pods?, etc.

In that context; probably 'website' or 'store'. In that case, I would've that word in relation to 'type of website' though. Like facebook or YouTube or Netflix or Pandora, or an e-commerce type of web service like PayPal.

but when I see someone use "platform", I think Social media platform and then I suspect the user is underage and /or in a "restrictive" country or region.

Something that fogs out a room in seconds or only produces a slight mist?
The more you can give us an idea of what you're looking for, the more we can give you ideas.
But a lot of us get mods and atomisers from Chinese etailers, batteries if needed from more local authorized resellers (don't buy from Ebay, Amazon or a majority of vape shops as you don't really know what you're getting sold) and liquid/DIY liquid supplies more locally.

Us guys mainly recommend anything but smok. You want a solid hard hitting mod? Try a voopoo drag 2 with a good mesh coil setup like fireluke or falcon.
I will second and third the notion of anything except Smok, Smok Tech. They've just had a very bad run on quality lately and then crap for customer services. They used to do well in both cases. Not sure what's occurred they're racing to the bottom. So, do not buy Smok gear.
Good luck on it if you do. Please don't expect much if any forum member help if so either. We're turning people away from them. It is usually wise to understand we've good reason to hang shame on a company, or turn customers away. Too much low quality and breaking, crap customer services are quite ample reasons. Buy against the warnings, you're fairly on your own luck.

You didn't tell us what country your located in, but the Geekvape Aegis line is a good bet for longevity and durability if your looking for a solid vw (variable wattage) mod.
If your wanting the best in temperature control (tc) then pretty much any DNA mod will work fine. (You can find those boards on both single and dual battery mods)
If your looking for a more DIY experience, a Dovpo Topside Or Topside Dual squonker might be fun (and definitely flavorful) vaping experience but you will need to purchase an RDA and build your own coils to use it, which requires a more advanced knowledge of vaping and is definitely more time consuming than simply purchasing drop-in coils for a tank.
There are many good and trustworthy vapeshops you can patronage, if you tell us your country of origin, we can guide you to the better shops in your nation.

SXmini or YiHi chipset mods aren't bad for TC (Temperature Coefficient/Temperature Control) either, and most of the settings can be done on the mods.
And SXmini mods are pretty well built, my SL class has occasionally thrown itself to the floor (carpeted thankfully) and survived. It did break an RTA though.
But there's lots of decent manufacturers to choose from, and at least Vaporesso is one of them.
Keep an eye out for deals on the Eleaf Pico Squeeze 2 though if you wish to look into using Rebuildable Atomisers in the future, as they're a decent mod and RDA's (Rebuildable Dripping Atomisers) and RDTA's (Rebuildable Dripping Tank Atomisers) are the easiest types to use.
That is of course unless you want really big dense clouds, then you're probably going to want to look at the Steam Crave Hadron. As that will power low build resistance atomisers safely and throughout the day.
