That little snippet, of backward glance, was nearly an endorsement!
For mainstream news, this is slightly encouraging. I agree, it almost read as an endorsement; at least the author notices there is promise in e-cigarettes.
I find the article actually responsible, adopting a wait-for-more-science-to-come-back approach. I'm totally good with that.
The comments, however, descended into the normal partisan political moshpit, with arguments about the Iraq War of all things in a tobacco article... wow...

Wow! That's a stretch and shows how desperate one can go to find an inkling of hope in the major news media. But ok, it's something - nano sized - but something.
