Well hot off the soldering iron. I give you the eclipse mints tin. These mints are rather very addictive and go good with my vape by the way.

This mod houses a 18650 2400mAh battery which actually just fits length wise. Very snug but the lid will snap shut as it should.
Had to use copper tape for the positive wire post due to lack of room. I also had to smash with vise grips the entrance for the battery. The tin is rolled there and that roll had to be flattened. I also used the syringe tubes tube from this thread to house the battery in.

I will be pulling the positive battery copper tape out and (just don`t like that) will add some liquid electrical tape to that end of the box then reattach the copper tape to that. Don`t know why it don`t make contact there but must be the backing on that tape.

I always use a 510 connector, and the switch is this one from Madvapes.
Push Button Switch -- Blue

I do have Thanks to give to two Members on the forum for this completed mod project. One for the mint tins and wanting to see a mod made from them and One for the copper tape samples I`ve gotten off her. You both know who you are and I didn`t want to throw you names up without permission but feel free to jump in and take you well deserved Thank you.

Ok bla bla bla I know on with the pictures.

Thanks for the responses everyone, Much appreciated.

This is awsome, Connman! Is there room for a juice bottle?

I forgot to mention that didn`t I. Yes you could have the room for one but due to it being tin I think it would be one of the type mods to use a button type deal to squish the bottle.

But does the vape leave your breath minty fresh??.....you crack me up Connman...no vessel is safe around you. LOL

Yes it does with all these mints I have.

I knew this was gonna be a sharp one. Great job on it!
A note about that copper foil tape, it conducts from both sides. The adhesive side takes a little work, but it will eventually conduct.
Now, if I can find somewhere that carries these mints.:) Do the boxes come in different colors?

See I knew I didn`t like the false security I was getting off that copper tape. Right after I posted that I did use the liquid electrical tape. It seems like that will work. I actually think the button should have been higher up towards the corner so this one will be coming back apart.
I`d of loved for the button to have been on the top but just no room with that 18650 taking up a little over half the width. This one I may try installing a on off switch as well.
Don`t know if there are other colors but I`ll see if I can come up with a link to them.

Oh ya, wanted to ask...Would the ICR 18650 fit better being shorter?

Yes a shorter battery would be much better in this case. It really is a tight fit and the positive connection really needs to be thin with this battery. I for sure need to do more in that area.

Conman, I think I'd consider gluing a cork pad under the positive battery connection. Even with the switch in the circuit, a positive terminal short to ground will bypass it and be a dead short across the battery terminals. It just might cook the paint off the Eclipse tin!
Great job, though! I like it.

I never considered cork. Will look into that thanks for the tip. I know I`ve seen it in thin sheets.
I have thought small piece of rubber like the chunk out of a pop bottle lid. But that may also be to thick. It actually needs to be paper thin or the lid won`t snap shut.

I will work on the updated version today with a possible on off switch and a better positive finished area.

May just need to borrow my sisters hammers. :)

I've seen it in craft and hobby stores.

LOL @ the hammers.:)
How about some of that plastic-dip stuff you use to coat tool handles, etc.? It should be more flexible than the liquid electric tape.
Or, put a thin layer of silicone caulking in there.
