Ok i know this is the wrong thread for this question, but on that subject would you say a VV twist battery would be best for the KTMPT 2? i would rather have more options, because i was looking into getting a VV

I'm probably the wrong person to ask about VV batteries. I bought a Spinner, but I found that I almost always used it at 3.5V to 3.8V. Don't go by me though. Most people on ECF seem to love VV or VW batteries.

Yea im just gonna buy a Ego bat for the KTPT2 , saw one that is etched metal and is only 15 bucks, kinda wanted a 2nd bat anyways as i have alot of fruity liquid. sucks because its not SI but ill still be rocking SI and the Mini T3s's for the offball flavors. the Mini Protank 2 is too awesome to toss out or unsleeak it with an adapter. Thanks for the input peoples

I'm almost positive that the "etched metal" eGo you're looking at does NOT have constant voltage output - otherwise, I woulda had my dragon batt by now.

For the mini PT, I prefer my C-Twist and Spinners (even though I keep it in the mid range - 3.5-4.1V), because that tiny play to control flavor and vapor is nice to have. Like with a new head, I can start out at 3.5V, then when the vapor drops (because of crud on the coil), I can crank it up a little higher. They can be had for almost the same price if you look around, especially with coupon codes and sales.

I guess for me it comes down to the fact that the button on a regular ego battery changes color as the charge level decreases. Now I have a hard time using a battery that doesn’t tell me when the charge is getting low. Even Vision makes an eGo battery with a button that turns red when it gets low. I wish they would put that in the Spinners.

That would be a nice feature. Can't tell you how many times I've left the house half-charged.

That's why you need a backup of your backup for your backup.

That's a good idea, but I don't like having to carry around a bunch of extra stuff. If I'm leaving the the house for 3 or 4 hours and can tell my 650 battery is over half charged, I know I'm good to go.

Yeah,,,I like living on the edge.:D I rarely have problems with my PV when I'm out and about. If I do, I'll survive till I get home. I do have a backup battery and a full CE3 in my toolbox at work though, and I take a backup if I'm going to be away from home more than a few hours.

I learned the hard way a long time ago NEVER to leave the house with just one PV. And to ALWAYS make sure there's an extra charger in the car. And an emergency bottle of juice. And my MacGuyver tools.

I carry 2 650 Spinners now, usually with EVODs, that I fill and check before I go anywhere. I took off one day with just a 650 X2 fresh off the charger and a full tank. Turned out that the batt was broken (wasn't holding a charge). Boy, did I cuss a lot that day! :grr::laugh:

Sitting down, facing forward.
Ya know, vapers always amaze me. As smokers we thought nothing of having a lighter or two, or maybe a lighter and a pack of matches, in our pocket or purse. That along with a spare pack of cigarettes. Think about it, we had at least twenty "backups" with us. Talk about backups of backups for your backups! But when it comes to vaping we expect one device and tank to do the trick. Just sayin.
