" Seems this might be a challenge with the tapered shell of the Igo and Echo. Or am I missing the mark here entirely. Never had an Igo or Echo carto in my hands so I'm actually the student here."

I don't think you missed the mark at all.

Nice when different techniques come together to form one solution. Good luck Bill. Glad the "how to" I did came in handy for you and hopefully the Igo Nation. :)

Oh yeah, don't forget to dry burn the crud off the coil before you put the filler back in.

Echo carto question...

What is the *minimum* amount of liquid to start vaping on a new Echo carto? With a 3ml capacity, I'd prefer to not fill it completely only to discover that a particular flavor doesn't taste so good in it.

Thanks, JJ

I would think that if you use a syringe and stick it down a little, 1 ml would probably be sufficient. The two I got were prefilled or I would check that out for you. I know you can vape almost the entire 3 ml before vapor decreases. I will be ordering some blanks but was waiting to see how much I liked them first. That has been answered so I will order a few more to test. I haven't had time to do a side by side with the Go-Go with the same juice but I will in the next few days after I get unpacked.

The way i look at these. is this in my experience 230 mls through one carto. which means I have refilled it 76 times and that equals 7 30ml bottles of juice that I paid on average 15.00 per bottle so 115.00 dollars of juice through a cartimizer I paid 5 bucks for. i would say it served me well. and move on to another carto. As far as trying to pull out the filler and clean the coil and so on IMO i have better ways to spend my time..

This is true and it sounds like you got a good bang for your buck. I wonder how the coil holds up to sweet, thick juices over that same period. I know that the gogo cartos have a shortened refill life using thick sweet juices over thin tobacco flavors so occasional reconditioning is necessary but perhaps the carto designs with the echo and Igo are superior and handle the "heavy" juices without fouling the coil. It would be a great breakthrough if someone could run 210ml of Maple cream caramel macchiato through a carto before it gave out.

Who gives a rats ..., if they perform as said and they are as cheap as $4 something and can keep on being refilled 100 times I know I would be happy even if I got 25 refills and had to put a new one on. I'm loOking forward to these Ego compatible ones for my 1000mAh and especially for my ePower unit that runs a 14500 Batt, these are sounding very good to me. A no issue fill 2.5ml's and just roll, keep it topped off and keep vaping is perfect for me.! Im in all the way and if they work as said then this will be an excellent set up and I'm sure these guys aren't BS'ing or they wouldn't sell. Thanks JohnnyB

Any iGo users out here I'm loving this new device. Now understand I'm a CE2 kind of gal, filler not my fav choice. These iGo cartocone's hold a lot, easy to drag and I love the rubber whistle tip. But well they make noise. So anyone found a way around the sucking sounds? My Hubie is now noticing just how much I vape and is pointing it out.

On the standard ECHO they are really quiet , only a little noise on a freshly loaded carto. other than that very quiet , my old kr808d-1 is louder. On thicker juice i am really not the one to talk to the thickest I personally use is a 60/40 mix so that is my only experience , but i do also use a lot of backwoods brew and it seems thicker than 60/40 so i am not sure how these will hold up if you were to use 100 percent VG

Vey well spoken. I'm a fan of all the horizontal coil cartomizers and I'm of the opinion that they are all great platforms. Igo, Echo, Gogo, they're all great. I certainly don't think the gogo is any better than the others and I'm not trying to start a PV pissing match. Last thing on my mind. My interests are in carto design. I came here for information from people who know the systems better than I. JohnnyBass is well respected and knowledgeable, so who better to ask?

Sorry I got up your nose there...............MWA. You bet I'll try some Echo Cartos when they become available, and I'll buy them from Johnnybass.

I have several IGO kits and don't notice any noise, but then I am used to the GO-GO.

Like it has been stated this is definitely not a pissing match , just trying to offer another option, they are all good weather it is a GOGO IGO ECHO whatever it is just trying to help keep up with the demand for these newer style carto options. I was a little leary of another automatic but the ECHO has been a pleasant surprise. kinda makes me feel like i am smoking a cigar . this is the first big battery in an auto I have seen so at first i was a sceptic , but not anymore

I also think all three with the bottom coil design are very close in performance. I am a member of the Go-Go Nation and recently got a Echo Auto. I like both of them and might have to apply for dual citizenship. I haven't had time to do a side by side test with same juice fresh battery ect but will in a few days. A person can't go wrong with either of them. The Go-Go has proved itself over the last few months and we will see how these others hold up but so far so good.

Just got my 650mah Echo. I am loving the size and performance. Too soon for detailed comparisons but about the same flavor and vapor of the GoGo I use and seems to me to be a little more TH. A tighter and quiet draw compared to the GoGo. This is the perfect size to keep in my shirt pocket. I think a second kit is in my near future.

I included a picture of my stable to show the size differences (from L to R; Bloog 78mm, Ego-T, Echo, GoGo (with whistle tip).
