I seriously think that's the first time I've seen anyone say they don't get serious TH from these. Amazing how we all perceive things differently, isn't it? To me the TH from a Boge is wimpy...even on VV.

I was thinking that It could have been the juice as well and that's why I tried it in the boge. The boge left me satisfied. With the EMDCC I felt that I could vape that thing all day continuously searching for that pefect vape. Cloud production was good and taste was great. I'll try a stronger juice in it to see if that was the issue.

See, that's just what I'm saying...I've tried the CE2s and found them to be lacking.

You might be right - I just built a quick and dirty syringe tank mod with a CE2 running down the middle of it and flavor is head and shoulders above an EMDCC but there is less TH - which also might be because it's a 2.5 ohm CE2.

See, that's just what I'm saying...I've tried the CE2s and found them to be lacking. I have run 6 mg juice in my EMDCCs and get all the TH I'd ever want...and TH is what I need most. It's just really interesting to me that all of us find things so different. I guess that's what I find really cool about all this. But it does make recommending things a bit tough sometimes.

I vape 30 mg nic all day long because I need that th. If I vaped 6 mg nic I would not get th in any device....but that's just me. If th is the important thing .....nic level has alot to do with that. But if you have found something that works for you that's what's it all about

The LR carto/syringe tank combo is terrific, especially in the 3.7-4.5 VDC range! I really like the DCs...

Yeah, the CE2 ended up irritating me so I stuck in a 2.5 ohm XL Smoktech I had laying around. I can see how this would work just great with a LR carto. The tank holds ~6ml, the carto stays wet and the taste is definitely still there. Gonna order a box of LR cartos to try with it ;)

I'm switching over to a tank/Boge combo also as soon as Jonboy finishes his next batch. I made a syringe tank just for giggles and liked everything about vape quality. It didn't hold up for long but long enough to know that's what I wanted for around the house. The emdccs still are great for road trips and extended outings etc., and I'll keep them around for hubby. We found a great way to punch holes in the cartos also, use a 1/4" Watts Self Tapping Saddle Valve available at Lowes or Home Depot.

Thanks for the tip on the saddle valve - dragging out the dremel tool works but a saddle valve will fit in my vaping box ;)

I like the tank a lot - I am gonna have to go back to a blunt needle for filling as this sharp is poking holes in the top seal even if I'm careful but it works pretty well. I just ordered 15 resurrectors from CCV to see how I like those - everybody else does so I think I will too.

Kept about three EMDCCs for the same reason you did and gave the rest of them to the missus as she doesn't want a tank.

OK, I got my beloved EMDCCs in from Vaping Zone. Sadly it seems something has changed?!? They no longer seem to give the punch they used to. Not sure what's going on. I'm using the same juice (DIY) as before, but it seems they're just not as powerful as they used to be. Thus far I'm rotating two of them and, while still superior to a Boge, they're not popping and hissing and they just don't hit like they used to. Any idea what's going on?? Anyone having similar issues?

I've seen this too. I figured I got a bad box.

You are describing exactly what I was referring to. I'd never used them before so sad to say that I was slightly disappointed when I fired mine up for the first go around. Mine came from MadVapes.

Thank you Joan, that is a nice little jewel of a tip! We need to share more ideas like this. Anything that can be bought at the local store is a gem.

JJ :)

I sent an email to VZ expressing my distaste for the change....flat out told 'em to fix it! Highly suggest others do the same.

Good idea. Sending email now.

On a side note, hoog never did reply to the PM I sent him on the quality of his Smok EMDCCs going downhill. I think MV is going through some growing pains - my order for 306 attys flat got lost last week. I opened a ticket and it got blamed on USPS and they said they'd ship out replacements priority mail, but looking at my order history it's the only order that doesn't have a tracking number.

Understandable since they just opened a new store, but a bit less than acceptable. I think once they get their feet on the ground things will smooth out, though.

This is always a good idea. Send email to vendor explaining what your concerns are about there products. Vendors dont know who ecf users are as we use different names here on ecf.

Answer I got back from VZ -

Thank you for letting us know, what is odd though is the same original
shipment we will be getting new shipment end of the week to early next week.
I will check new shipment when it arrive.

As far as what is going on with current shipment, I wonder if just a few
underperforming ones.

Thank you.

OK...got a response from VZ. They said they think it's just a few underperforming ones in the lot as it is supposedly the same shipment that the originals were in. They said they should have a new shipment coming in soon and they'll check them to be sure they perform correctly.
