I have a smok Teck dual coil eGo carto and I use it on a joye eGo 1000mAh battery... I like it just fine, been using it on and off for a few weeks ... but has anyone else noticed you have to let it warm up for a few seconds? I mean holding down the button for 3 or 4 secords before you start to hear the crackle / produce vapor?

Never took notice of it being strangely long, you might try a Kgo battery, slightly higher voltage but it makes a big difference. I like the ones from Dark City Vapor

beeing a 1.5-1.6 ohm dual coil i believe each coil heat up as a 3-3.2 ohm single coil would do.
Those coils will produce double vapor than a single one bit they run pretty cool that's why you need more time to get the sizzle.

My coworker accidentally ordered one of these and gave it to me. I love it, but one issue. My batteries no longer charge properly. It's probably my mistake for using these on an eGo Variable Volt from gotvapes.com, but I've only used it on the lowest setting. The batteries just continuously charge now, even if left on the charger for 24 hours. They always show 2-3 bars charging, when I take it off the charger and press the button it shows fully charged. Once I screw an atty on and take a drag, it goes down to 2-3 bars. Could be coincidence, could be me using an atty not designed for these batteries. Anyone else run into something like this?

Are you referring to the tank I linked to, or the EMDCC?

Thanks for the replies. I've been satisfied with VZ and MV, although it seems initially the MV hits a bit harder than the VZ ones. I think I'm also gonna order one of the below and try it.

Dual Coil 510 Tank Cartomizer

I make my own ghetto tanks out of 6ml plastic bottles - if you wanna try a tank with zero cash outlay and have a spare cartomizer and a 6ml plastic bottle you might wanna give it a try. Check it out - I've made syringe tanks and prefer these:

Here's the video on how to make them -

I recently got mine from Janty europe and they're just fantastic.
I'm not sure but i guess they're Smoktech as well.
Do anybody clean them every few refills? how?

I tried that when I first started using them. My results were that about half the time, it worked fine. The other half the time, after washing them out, letting them dry, and refilling them, they did not work well at all. And when that happens, you waste a lot of juice.

I decided that it wasn't worth the trouble. They last me about a week, for $2.79. That means $12 a month will let me use new ones every time.

I agree....they can be cleaned with varying results. For some its worth the hassle. For me 2.79....12 bucks a month just not worth the hassles anymore.

In the last 3 months I have tried at least a dozen different carto's and atties and clearomizers from vapingzone. They all work as they should its just a matter of personal preference to what works the best for you

We haven't been cleaning them (I ordered a dozen or so two months ago). Wife goes through about one ever 2-3 wks...(for reference she uses a cart's worth of fluid a day). She has been very pleased with them thus far.

Now my batteries are getting a bit old...so looking for the next new thing (that will work w/ the EGO threads...as I sitll have a herd of these cartos.) :p

I finally broke down and ordered a couple of kGo batteries today. I've read that they perform very well with the EMDCCs. I've used my old eGos for about nine months now and they just don't have the power or endurance they once had.
