Do anybody clean them every few refills? how?

I've thrown a few in boiling water for 5 or 10 minutes. Let them cool - blow them out. Boil again if they still smell like whatever flavor I had in them - let them cool and blow them out again. I have a sunny window to put them in to dry. I leave them drying on the window sill for a few days, but they're probably dried out in a couple of sunny days.

I can't go through all 135 pages of posts. So I was wondering if you could update your findings for us slow readers.

I followed your link on your first post to madvapes, and they don't seem to have them anymore. Where can I get them?

Have you tried S-T duel coils, and how do they compair in taste, life and vapor?
The S-T cartomizers are my favorite attys right now. They are hastle free, $60=6 boxes(30 count) from myvaporstore.com last me about 2.5 months. Do these compair?

Thank You.

Madvapes moved them to this page

Assuming you are asking how they compare to the standard, mega, and XL Smoke Tech Dual Coils, they compare well with flavor and vapor production. They have a greater capacity and are designed specifically for ego and ego clone batteries.

As to 135 pages of posts - Go to your account settings and check out the options. I see 34 pages of posts. Using a greater number of posts per page default makes skimming a long thread like this a lot more efficient. You can also change the color scheme and personalize your forum experience in a lot of other ways, too.

I got the big tank carto from MV today. Am not very impressed, except with the liquid capacity of the tank. No leaks that I can find. Maybe it needs a more powerful carto, or a break in period. On the battery, it looks like a miniature version of one of those old gas pumps, from the twenties, that has the clear tank on top. Just needs a hose on the side of it! LOL

I think I'll stick with the EMDCC, unless something bigger and better comes along.

Have you seen the twin coil clearomizers from vapingzone? No filler.. clear.. twin coils. I have tried them and like them better than twin coil carto's

The standard dual coils really benefit from more voltage. Since MV is selling a few different ohm cartos for the tanks, I can only guess, but it is sort of like this for me: - 1.6 ohm standard dual coil @ ~4.4 load volts - 2.0 ohm standard dual coil @ ~5.0 load volts - 2.8 ohm standard dual coil @ ~ 6.0 load volts.

The ego mega dual coils are pretty good up to around 4.6 or so volts, but tend to perform a little better than the standard sized dual coils at lower voltages. I don't really have much of an explanation as to why since the coils are almost identical.

But, in a tank, I have a pretty good idea. The tank full of juice is quite a lot of mass. The entire carto doesn't get as hot so it's a little tougher to get it cranking out the vapor clouds. - The EMDCCs have quite a lot of mass by themselves, but the carto as a whole gets hotter faster than a standard sized in a tank.

Mad Vapes is the cheapest I've found. Here's a bit of advice, when you order, be sure to get two or three of the shorty 510 extensions. This is in case there might still be some of the cartos with center pins that don't reach the battery connection or charger connection. Word is that problem is supposed to be fixed, but I'd still play it safe. I received a new order yesterday, and I've only tried one, and the center pin was OK on it. Haven't examined the others. On the first fill, I drip 100 drops down the inside wall of the carto, avoiding the center hole. Move the carto around while dripping to distribute the liquid as equally as possible in the carto. Let set a few minutes, then happy vaping. Snap, crackle, pop and sizzle is normal.

Thanks for the advice. The center pin issue. It looks like it accepts a flat tip screwdriver, you can't just unscrew it a couple turns to make it longer? The clear ones look like they would let you see the whole filler and let you know when it is getting dry.. does the plastic suffer from cracking issues like the clearomizer used to? How do you normaly tell if the aluminum ones are getting too dry, can looking at the top tell your or is it just by the vaping experience?

Likewise, I've used around 30 EMDCCs and had only one with a nasty taste. Not a bad record though.

Center pin - No screwdriver. the slot is for airflow, not for a screwdriver. This post should get you straightened out for any that won't fire on your battery. Clear ones - Yes. They can crack like any other clear ones (the larger diameter does seem to make them a little more durable, but as far as I'm concerned: clear = can and likely will crack). Too dry: Just the flavor and vapor production. Once they taste a little dry and vapor production starts to drop off, they are ready for a refill.
