I have no idea if it's the same EMDCC from MadVapes or VapingZone. I looked at the picture carefully and saw no branding. Who knows these days. I know that I've made several orders from the vendor, and I like them. I still have 20 of the original EMDCC's or I would order 5 from them just to see. It would really be nice to know that you could still buy quality EMDCC's that work. I would then buy another 20 just to have them on hand because I really like the EMDCC's - of course the ones that work.
I would gladly pay 80 cents more if they work and last like the originals.
Nope - madvapes has exclusive US rights to Smoktech's EMDCC and I've used both. The vapingzone clone has lower resistance, an easier draw and IME is a better carto. I just bought another 20 of them last night.
I just got mine form vapingzone today and filled 2 of them up. Here's where it gets hairy...at 3.7V, they taste funky...both are filled with juices I vape everyday....okay I put them on 2 5V mods and BAM...there she blows...awesome flavor, vapor, TH...put them back on eGo batteries...funky again. WTF is going on. I bought 10 of them and took one from each box and got the same results. At 5V, fantastic...at 3.7, funky tasting.
Has anyone else had the "funky" taste? Okay, I have to admit I was taste testing today but still...cinnabomb is super strong and so is mango from FSUSA...I shouldn't be having taste issues. I tried the same juices on 2 Boge and no problem with funkiness.
I love the draw on these. I like an airier draw especially at higher volts. Someone give me some feedback please.

They aren't the same. I have 40 original madvapes from the first run and 10 from about a month ago. I been using the most recent just to use them up...as soon as the draw gets hard and I vape the juice down...they hit the trash. I'm not going to waste my time trying to clean duds. I haven't bought any recently to see how they compare.
Couldn't tell you, hairball - they work well on my KGO batteries and they're about 3.8v under load. The only thing I can think of is they're slightly lower resistance than the Smok cartos and maybe your batteries don't like them but if they fire at all they should work.
Maybe someone else has an idea?
Maybe they are the originals, there was nothing to stop anyone from buying the originals from MV in July and re-selling on their own websites.
Hmm, that is weird. Describe funky please. Burnt or just chemical tasting? Maybe let them sit with the juice for a few hours and then try again? I found I need to do that with these giant cartos. Also, the tips can have a real funky taste at first. With the 5V you might not notice anything funky cause it's so much warmer?
I haven't ordered yet from vapingzone, but so far I've ordered nine EMDCCs from madvapes and only one has given a funky taste. I filled it with AVE's C&D and let it sit. When I vaped it I got vapor but also a dry atty burn taste. I let it sit some more, tried it the next day, got vapor and some flavor but still mostly dry atty burn taste. I tried the C&D in another EMDCC and it was great.
I have been using this one EMDCC for 4 weeks now and it is still going strong. These things may be better than any other vape toys I have. I just got some echo e dual horizontal coils today and they are great so far as well. I have tried hundreds of things including the iAtty and the A2-T and while those are good too, at the price these are better in my book, but IMHO I think the SMOK ones from madvapes with the clear thick tube is by far the best of the EMDCC's
I bought some of the clear EMDCCs from MV, and they've all cracked, after about a week or so of use.
That is so crazy to me because I have droped my clear ones and twisted them on too tight and nothing, they keep going strong. Hmmm... Were they manufactured by SMOK?
I've been using two MV clear SMOK in rotation over a month with no issues. They are gettin' tired, but...
I was just wondering. Has anyone broken the MadVapes and other EMDCCs apart? do we know how they are built? Could it be that the coils are INSIDE the airway? that would explain the glow. It also would explain why poking a needle up the air tunnel would cause failure. The restricted airflow could be due to crud building up on the coils. The ones I got from MadVapes are still going strong, 2 weeks in.
@Vhal yes, the 2 ohm Boges are great. Just keep dripping to keep them wet. Taste great, last a long time. I use cut off old 510 carts as tips for those (as well as on the CE2s that I still like).

The coils *are* inside the airway. This is a dead month-old EMDCC with a blown coil - I run a straightened paper clip up the things a few times a week once the draw starts getting tight but be *really* careful doing that - I and at least one other person have killed one doing it.
A wet coil shouldn't glow - they light up when they're dry
I think it's due more to the filler 'swelling'. Take a look at a new carto and you can see light through it.

i will say, so far, the replacement EMDCC i got from MV has worked out good. they sent me 3 new ones. only tried 1 so far but its working good.
i have not tried the replacement cartos i got from VapingZone yet.
my Boge 2.0s should be in today.
need to get me some unflavored nic-free PG for testing carts with. i burned up a 20 ml bottle on all these bogus carts >=/
dont think i need a gallon though. anyone know of a brick&mortar store that has some USB PG?

Tractor Supply will sell you a gallon for about $22 - don't know of anywhere else you can buy it but maybe someone else does.
