So, is that a "yes, but they look a little funny" or is that a "no"? I haven't tried them yet either.
Don't know.

Yes, the EPDCC does work on eGo batteries, it just looks funny but performs great.
Yes but it's not a terrible funny. I use mine with an extention on my Maxi Roughstack mostly for work. I love the capacity.
VeggieGirl, the EPDCC are larger in diameter than the GoGo but it looks much better than on the eGo battery and since it's 1300mah it will last longer between charges. I bet these were made to the same specs as the EMDCC when those first came out and they just haven't changed them... hopefully they won't.
The battery is an eGo with battery life indicator at the bottom...has lights that lightup when you fire it...as the battery depletes, less lights...900mah.
I don't think those are ego batteries. If they were ego batteries, the EMDCC would fit right, and I dont' think real ego batteries have all that "stuff", like the lights you're describing.

Whoooeeey that sure does look silly! Hmm I have a solution though. Somebody, make a KGO battery that's fatter! What, they do, and it's called a GoGo? Oh...
p.s. Seriously, I wouldn't mind carrying around something like that. I just have a few simple requirements for what I would use- cylindrical, no mods, nothing that even remotely looks like an IED, simple, and works.
A couple weeks ago I saw a 2600mah ego knockoff (I like the knockoffs better than the name brand)...it's being beta tested right now.
Any idea if it's unregulated or regulated? -- Most clones are not, but I'd sure hope a 2600 mah would be (unless they put an IMR battery in it - in which case, that would be good enough).
I have one, the XL1 chrome model. They are regulated, 3.3X volts. They have a safety cutoff after being on for something like 12 seconds. They have the 5 click on 5 click off feature, like the Joye eGo-T batteries. It takes an 18650 battery, but the diameter cannot exceed 18 mm, and some do. It's a nice unit, especially handy for big cartos like the EMDCC. There's a top threaded cap that rises up to meet a carto's eGo style "skirt", for a very finished look. Then the head with electronics. There's a removable extension/adapter on mine, that ends in an eGo type 510 female. The metal is strong, it's not paper-thin. No idea about the black one, the construction looks very different.

A big advantage is that an 18650 battery has so much umph that you can use any 18650 battery without worrying about high-drain. They will support a 2.0 or 1.5 Ohm burner, no problem, unlike some we know ;-). The regulator/switch works OK with such a load (so far). I mostly use it with an EMDCC (I wish it came in chrome) or a chrome Echo-E. With a Boge 2.0 on it it looks like a candle. It's a formidable weapon.
I have not tried it. I remove the 18650 and charge it in an external charger. I doubt an eGo charger, that puts out 300 mA (or is it 400 mA), is going to "do it justice", but I've never tried it.Looks like a regular eGo charger will charge it also, right?

I just bought this one. For the life of me I couldn't remember if the battery was removable or not. Thank you for the link to the go-go site. I hope it's better than the "you know what" model that is already out...I'm not impressed with that one and I have all 3 models. I have a bunch of EPDCC's and I'm keeping my paws crossed that it will run them without kicking in the circuit protection like the "other" models have a tendency to do.
