Yeah I don't have it. Only the larger ones. But I think you are right, I don't believe it would work.

The only CLR tank I tried that didn’t perform to my satisfaction is the Wismec Amor. Never got good flavor out of it - but that could just be me.
I tried the Armor tank too. I though ti was okay at the time but it was my first CLR tank. Looking back, it kind of sucked until it died an the capacity... /Not so good.
I think it’s pretty much accepted - at least in this thread - that the CL coils are prone to dry hits. At the time they were introduced, most reviewers thought so too, and several opined that the eliquid holes on the sides of the CL coils were too small to allow for adequate and consistent saturation of the wicking material.Say I don't know if this is the best place to ask. But I got a Joyetech eGrip VT about 2 years ago. I never got a good vape out of it. But I only tried one coil. So it sat until recently.
And I recently found some really cheap CL coils on eBay. I thought they were selling clone coils, but they appear to be really Joyetech coils. Anyway the first box of 5, two Ti coils are too low to fire. One had a dead short. One sort of worked for a few minutes and then had burnt hits, etc. Is this common?
I don't know, even whenever I could get it to somewhat work, flavor was horrible and vapor was really weak. Has anybody had any luck with these things? Yes, first time trying to get TC to work on these things. I think I could stop the coils from burnt hits if I could drop that 30 watts in Ti TC. But it appears I can't do this.
I had plans on using CLR coils with it if I could get a decent vape out of it. But the way things are going, all pod devices out today will give you a much better vape than this thing can.![]()
What?I have never, even once, gotten a dry hit from that coil, actually. I was not even aware it was a thing. I bet I run them lower wattage than a lot of folks do, though

I have no experience with that mod, though.

What?Seriously? It could be just these eGrip VT things. But it is really rough to get any vapor and flavor out of the thing. Then of course trying to get it better that dreaded dry hit happens.

I do not agree regarding the Ni and Ti CL coils.
I started to use them with my Tron tanks as two of each are given with each new tank.
They have to be primed correctly. I just fill the tank and wait at least 20 minutes before vaping.
I use these at 25w and between 210-240 degrees depending the vape i look for.
I had of course no dry hits, the Pico and Vtc mini i use TC mode works great.
So 30w should not be a problem with your Egrip.
Ni coils can be found at ridiculously low prices now , less than 1$ for a five-box on some Chinese sellers.
They wick perfectly , have good taste and last long.
Do you lock correctly the coil at room temperature before vaping ?
And i also build my CLR coils with TI wire, 6 wraps with 2,5 mm coil for around 0,4 ohms, with Fiber Freaks D2 cotton, and the result is awesome !
Yes my bad, I see ego one tank series and I think CLR automatically.
I did accidentally order a bunch of the CL coils (sadly) and I am NEVER going to use them. Once I know I can afford shipping, I should like put them on the PIF thread only I would also feel guilty about doing that.

Keep them for parts. Grommets and pins.Yes my bad, I see ego one tank series and I think CLR automatically.

Jumpin'in , sorry, my settings are in Celsius degrees ! I'm French and we don't use Fahrenheit.
My apologies, I should have been more precise.
