Ok all, need your advice. Me and the lady have a few KR-808's with carts and its just not getting it done. Meaning the vaping is just barely enuff to qwell the nic fits and if we jack the nic up to 24mg's we get the peppery thoat hit. Were looking for a PV that puts out the vapor, thats smooth, lite throat hit but can use 24mg's of nic. When I say that I want a good hit, the 808's are just not satisfying for the hit. I was thinking about getting us a couple of Ego-T tanks, what do you all think? I need a better hit and nic throat hits that are not goin to give me the peppery throat thrashing. Give me some idea's please

I have a regular resistance T atomizer type A that I purchased to try on my Riva and do not care for it.I get very little TH or flavor. The blue plastic tanks leak easy and do not last long for this reason. This is my own experience and other people's may be different.I like the boge carto's in either LR or regular a lot better. Also the dual coil 1.7 carto's.More TH and flavor without being too harsh.

If you already have a KR808D, you might want to try ordering some Bloog or Volt cartomizers. I like them a lot better than the regular 808 carts. I'm not 100% sure if they will work on a regular 808 battery though.
Not sure if this will work better for you with 24mg, but it might be worth a try.
Personally, I also stay away from T's, I have some, but I don't like it at all. Very weak flavor. But some people like them, so you never know. And having an ego is never a bad thing, you can put other things on them to try out.

To see if you can get more vapor out of your KR808s, buy some blank Wow! cartos from Vapor4Life. Use a juice that's 80/20 PG/VG or 70/30 or even 50/50. You should have a more satisfying vape out of those cartos, and that's about the best you'll get out of a KR808. It's worth a try - you might find your current vape. :)

I wasn't in love with my Ego t. i stuck a drip atty on my ego battery and am very happy...if your ok dripping juice every 5-10 pulls.... I think getting the ego is great because its a nice battery you can try different stuff on...i plan to stick a dual coil cartomizer on it too.... Make sure you go with LR... but i must say go ahead and upgrade to the ego...once you have those batteries you can stick alot of different stuff on it till u find what works for you...go Low Res with whatever you order.

Get a regular, non tank ego. Or a riva. The ego-t's are a maintenance nightmare and even at best are not worth the effort. I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on trying different ecigs. I started with the kr808 and I can understand why you want to step up. Try this: Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510 scroll down to the carto deluxe. It comes with boge 2.0 low resistance cartos that will give you better th and heat. It also comes with a case that I own that I dont know what I ever did without. Then go to johnson creek and get some good juice. I love the tennessee cured, but they have samplers so you can try all their juices cheap. I am a very satisfied vaper with my boge 2.0's and my johnson creek :)

I didn't get the TH from my eGo T's. I like them for commuting but not a fav. We recently tried the new eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer and are loving them! The hold a ton of juice and have great vapor an TH.

I think dripping is still the best for flavor and TH. Although not always practical.

I'm loving my eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartos, too!!! These babies deliver as advertised. Still not comfy taking them for long trips away from my house, though, because I'm afraid of the juice suddenly deciding to leak out if they end up horizontal in my purse/pocket. I just made my first purchase of eGo-T attys and tank cartos - so I don't have anything eGo-T to compare the difference in the vape. I'll try to remember to do a comparison in this thread as soon as I'm up and running (probably by Friday). :)

I personally liked my ego-t type b but now, I moved on to a REO. It's kind of the same concept since you can carry 3ml (REO mini) or 6ml (REO Grand) around with you. This eliminates the need to carry around extra cartos or bottles of juice.

It's very easy to use and doesn't take a lot of maintenance. It is box shaped which some aren't into but personally, I don't like tube mods. Here's a few links to let you have an idea if this is for you or not:

I have made several posts about the eGo-T, I'm an advocate for it. In all reality, it's a very simple and straight forward set up. There's no risk of dry hits and burning (as long as the tank is settled onto the spike and you give it a second to wick) because you can see how much liquid is inside. I'm thinking that the people that have had issues with leaking either had a bad atty, or didn't seat the tanks properly. The attys sometimes do/don't get sealant in the right places inside, which causes too much/too little air-flow that can cause leaks and the like.

I used my eGo for about 2 months (father in-law has one too, and he loves it) before I started buying mods. Currently I'm running Altsmoke's Alpha with Smoktech LR cartomizers, and I'm happier than I was with the eGo...but I know that the eGo was a big step up from the gas-station models, or the 808s.

Hope this helps,
-X

I finally figured out how I could use my eGo-T. When I die, I'm going to ask for an eGo-T to be sticking out of my mouth while I'm laid out at the funeral home. It is a sexy looking ecig and I would like to look as sexy as possible.
