Hi guys, tapping into this amazing resource once again. I know what I am about to ask can be incredibly subjective, but i could use a little steering. My sister, mother of 2 toddlers and working nurse quit smoking when her first daughter was born, but stresses of life and all that, cravings come. I want to get her a VV ego style or something similar. Something dead easy to use, that will produce a good reliable vape. And you dont have to be a hobbyist to enjoy. However i skipped this step in my vaping progression and went straight to mods after having my HALO for a week. I like the HALO but its proprietary tank connector is a deal breaker. So i have no experience with any of these.

My plan was to build her a little kit. Im thinking an Ego Twist and a Spinner 1300mah. A protank2 and an EVOD for the tops. Im a little hesitant on the ProTank, some people have issues with them, but mine has functioned great. If there is any particular clearomizer/tank or a different battery you would suggest please do so. I would love to know.

and i apologize for a question i know has been answered before, but with how fast this technology evolves (well at least with how fast they release new gear) i wanted a fresh take. Thanks all, especially you vets out there, your patience and generosity is greatly appreciated.

Have you thought about the evod starter kit? I am kind of against people starting out with vv units. They tend to get crazy with the voltage and turned off when they keep burning coils at 4.8 volts. If you get them set up with a solid set voltage unit they can move up to a vv if they want once they have a feel for vaping in general.

I second the iTaste VV v3 and Mini Protank II combo. Vaping by watts gives a consistent vape, no matter what coil she's using. The mini protanks are our least fiddly, least gurgle clearos in our arsenal at home. They're almost exclusively the only clearos hubby will use.

Try this.....http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm. Two batteries & two tanks of your choice and a charger. That way she will have a backup. Good luck & VAPE ON:vapor:

that is the exact kit i was looking at. :) I am a dripper getting into RBA's so ive never used most of those clearomizers.

Thats a very good point, i had intended to walk her through it before hand, Something about buying an item you know you will upgrade irks me. To me it feels akin to throwing away money. The counter point to that of course is buying more expensive gear you dont fully know how to use properly and then damaging/breaking it. Perhaps it make sense getting her a single standard 510 connection battery to get comfortable with alongside the VV devices. I will have to consider it.

Thank you guys.

I own both Twists and Spinners and prefer the Spinner. I just recently converted a young lady and of all the PVs offered the iTaste caught her eye- smaller than the Twist and Spinner and very classy looking. The one downside is the lack of mah but she's a light smoker (1/2 PAD) so it's worked out perfectly for her. Also being a pass through she can charge and vape at the same time.
As for toppers I'll let others chime in as it seems most of them require some sort of tweaking.
The young lady- smoke free for 2 weeks now  and LOVES her iTaste.

I don't know anything about Itastes, but if you're thinking about Spinners and Twists, I'd recommend skipping Twists. The numbers are really hard to read when it's brand new, and it's not long before they're pretty much impossible to read.

Actually the numbers on a stainless Spinner will wear off too, but the numbers on the colored Spinners are nice and clear, and they stay that way.

I found that the vision 1300 spinners worked great. The vivi novas have been no hassles for me tank wise. And as long as you give her a quick inservice about what volt range to stay in, she shouldn't have any trouble with going through wicks before their time with the variable voltage. Best of luck to you and your sis!

I've also been happily using the Vision brand Vivi Novas ever since they were released...realize they are top coil and give a warm vape.

I also agree... The itaste vv3, adjust the watts for het at 6.5 or 7 untill she is ready to mess with herself.
Personally ive had no luck with any of the kangers... But i will link you to the only clearos i do use and love love love.
The green and purple look great on the chamelan, i like the different colors to identify what juice is what. This clearo also uses the protanks coils. Also i didnt even clean mine other than a quick rinse with water, they havnt cracked with my juices yet. Been using two interchangably for a month and one is still on rhe stock coil. The other i only changed because of a nasty coffee flavor.

$27.28 KWX5 Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Atomizers (5-Pack / 2.0mL) 5-pack - 2.4

Shippimg for those do take a month. But is well worth the wait.

Since they haven't been mentioned yet I would like to give a thumbs up to the Aspire bdc cleatromizers. The vapor and flavor is great, they are very easy to refill and the heads can be easily replaced. They are fairly inexpensive and in my experience I get 1-2 weeks on ahead. I hope that vaping works for her.
