Debating on picking this up.......is it not good with temp control?

I use mine in temp control with 316L SS on DNA 200's & an RX 200, love it. It's a great tank & while I don't need a top seal yet it would be nice to have as a spare.

I have two and use them with SS316L also.
They perform extremely well with an SX Mini M, an Apollo Reliant and an VF Stout.

I've joined the Bachelor club, thanks in no small part to the enlightening commentary on this thread!

I'm highly impressed with the solid build quality of this tank. I've learned from you to watch out for the top seal, as well as the O-ring in the chimney dome. This is only my second RTA, and having cut my teeth on the UD Bellus, I'm very pleased with the ease of wicking. Once successfully taming the Bellus, Bachelor seems essentially leak-proof.

My Bachelor twins were ordered with some new-to-me SS316L wire, and after some playing around I'm happy with a 26 AWG 9-wrap standard coil with 3mm ID and 9mm legs, which clocks in around 0.7ohms. Firing this at 26W with temp controlled to 360F on my Joyetech eVic VTC Minis gives me great vapor, flavorful and very smooth with airflow set to max.

I've now retired the single-coil adapter I was using on one Bellus; both are now running twin 28-gauge 8-wrap SS316L dual coils at 2.5mm ID. Happy place located!

Wow, long thread is long....are there that many problems with it or are there just a lot of happy owners out there..?

I tried going through the thread but after ten pages of nothing but speculation I got a bit tired of reading.

Can anyone tell me me if there have been many issues with leaking with this tank and how the juice consumption is please?

I'm not a huge cloud-chaser myself, I prefer flavor. I vape in TC mode with Ti at around 420F on a Toptank mini currently, but am looking to upgrade to a dedicated RTA.

No leaking here. Easy to wick. My only gripe is the fact that it doesn't come with an extra top fill seal. Eciggity is supposed to be carrying them sometime in the future. Flavor is good on this one. Air flow is a restricted mouth to lung. But I kinda like that. Juice milage is great.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Hmmm, that sounds a bit too good to be honest, my search for my first RTA might be just be over..

I would love to hear some more opinion though, if anyone else wants to chime in.

I love the damn thing and am looking forward to the Nano.

No spare top-fill gasket is a downer, but we'll see if that changes.
Not even sure how you damage one... it's a thick disk of silicone.

The only minor complaint... a bit of design iffyness... fully tightened, the juice ports don't line up properly. But just like with the inner airflow holes on my Aromamizer, I can slightly loosen the base/body and get them lined up. The O-rings inside still hold a seal and no leaks.
No drama.

And that JFC definitely works. I wondered what broke one day after a refill... no vapor.
I had just forgotten to re-open the JFC. Derp. :p

Haha, I keep forgetting to open the airflow on my Toptank mini as well after filling.

So it doesn't leak at all, not even when you leave it open for a while when filling? I'm a bit slow sometimes and the Toptank is very unforgiving at that.

The bachelor? It's the best all around single coil atty out imo. Simple to build, functional, works. Not leaky, can close juice flow completely. The air flow is plenty, slightly restricted compared to a dripper.. But this isn't a dual coil dripper with 10-20mm of air flow. Is a simple single coil with 4mm air flow. Ive been lung hitting since 1.5mm air so it's not like you can't lung hit a 4mm air flow. It's just not like breathing it's so loose.. 40w lung hits are not a problem, 50w you start to feel some restriction. But raising the coil will open the draw up some. I've got mine closer to the air hole right now.

Well, I have two Bachelors, with a third on the way, use TC almost exclusively and my other tanks have been on vacation on the shelf :)
It's easy to wick, doesn't leak, and has great flavor. Even clouds, if you're into that sort of thing.
I just don't get that "restricted mouth to lung" thing, I'm a DTL and find this tank perfect.

Because it is modestly restricted, and some people don't like that.
But I jump between so many set-ups, I don't have an issue with it.

Hell... I even used to lung hit EVODs. :p

I don't know how you would build for a true MTL with this, but it's no Crown for airflow.
No complaint here though.
