Mine is parked, the vape just isnt as good as the FEV. Air flow around the coil isnt enough for me. It wants to gunk the top of coil becuse theres a low pressure point. The flavor is not as good as the fev either. Yes mine has always weeped through the control ring. The juice flow with 100 vg really just isnt that great. The coil legs thing ...... me off when i tried to do a quick recoil the other day.. I'll still use sometimes.

That's funny, your initial respond to my inquiry in this thread is what sold me on the Bachelor not too long ago.

I just re-wicked my Nano yesterday after about two weeks of use and the build up was very minimal on mine. I don't recall there was significantly more build up on the top of the coil as elsewhere neither but I wasn't really paying attention to it.

I use max VG as well by the way, no problems here. Have you tried a looser wick? This won't help with the weeping problem of course. Oh wait, you use rayon, that might make a difference perhaps.

Also, what's a FEV?

I know bud, but i lay it out when i decide something. After a few months i decided.. :)That is vaping for ya..

It has its benifits but im a long time vaper with rebuildables and it fell a little short for me.... I like to push the limits.

But few people in the world have experienced the flash e-vapor set up right. So you wouldn't know what your missing.

Almost broke it again the other day.. The fev is indestructible which is important for what i do with it. Since the vape is better on the flash i'm back to that.

Im guessing your not vaping at 40+w.

This is my first and only RTA so yeah, not much to compare it to besides the Toptank with Kanger's RBA.

And correct, I use mine in TC mode only and have the max wattage set to 32,5W but it barely ever reaches that. Usually it hovers around 16W or less with my 0,4ohm twisted g1 ti coils @200 to 235 degrees Celsius.

But frankly it performs so well for me that I don't really see a need to try out other stuff. The Nano that is, I couldn't stop the full size version from leaking so I retired it, but besides that problem it performed identical to the Nano as far as I can tell.

But if you're saying there are better RTA's out there I'm very curious to learn about it. Gonna google that flash e-vapor now :)

Pretty cool little bugger, though not to my taste.

Here's a page by someone who's obviously taken by the design (v4)...
Flash e-vapor V4

Lot of upsides though... German design, Jim Idiot proof, etc.
May have to keep it in mind

the fev is a dripper, right?

I just looked it up, it's a 3ml tank. It also costs about 5 times as much as a Nano which probably means I will never own one as a true dutchman :p

Still have to check for some reviews and vids though, but yeah, that's a lot of money compared to all the China tanks out there.

edit: never mind me, don't know what I'm talking about yet, lol. As it turns out there are several versions out there. I just saw a 6ml version and a 8ml version too, and some are only half the price of the first one I found. Need more info still.

I've retired mine to the vapeapocalypse stash as well. Had numerous leaks while in pockets, and I cannot tolerate that. That's the same reason I abandoned the Lemo 2. I'll stick with the Bellus (original) and Aqua V2 clones (Angelcigs dropped the price and I bought 6). Those don't surprise me like the Bachelor does. I had high hopes and enjoyed the flavor, but random leaking is a no-go.

What, paid 20 for my v2 clone over 2 years ago.. 5 ml tank, 8 ml tank, and dripper were all included. Clone is the only way to go. I also have a v3. The clones are 1:1 cause the tank system is so simple.

Its not for everyone, but its not that hard to work with and its tough as nails. May just be personal preference. Dont fret the bachelor is a good tank.

Heres the fev thread on ecf
Flash-e-Vapor V2 rba by Artur Schwarze

Sorry back to bachelor talk now..

Don't sweat it... it was a valuable tangent.

I'm just curious why the B Nano, as well as the Lil' Serpent are still bone dry after three days.

It's honestly perplexing. :p
Jim.. Can you tell me what is your coil build for the Nano (gauge, id, wire material, etc)? If possible, could you post a pic of your build? I want to see how you wicked it.

The Nano I had ordered cleared customs today. Should be delivered in a day or two.

The wicking I'm using nowadays is Muji in a "modified" Scottish Roll.
Which simply means using only 50% to 65% of the ludicrous amount used in the one vid I watched on the subject. Sorry... no numbers/sizing recommendations... I'm not that precise with it.

But it works damn well... obviously as it's me saying it, and not having a leaking tank. :p

I will admit... I still err on the side of too much wick. I can't really get much beyond 4v (and change) on the majority of my simple builds before the dry hits start to show themselves.
It's not a major handicap for me... there's still plenty of vapor.

As I recall... for the full size I put in a big ol' honkin' simple 24G 316 SS.
About 11 wraps IIRC for 0.63 ohm. Had to span that canyon between the leg holes. :D

I felt like going a little different in the Nano, so I paralleled some 26G 316 instead.
It's probably only 4-5 wraps (P, not Twisted) and sitting at 0.29.

Both are goodly sized IDs... the original is 3.5mm and the Nano is that or 4.0mm.
I'll rewick the Nano soon... just a bit "too" too much wick.

But zero leaking or condensation... "But, it's a dry heat man." :p

Yeah, the paralelling and lightly spaced (I always do spaced nowdays) made for fewer wraps and half the resistance. Shouldn't be hard to get a high-ish ohm build in all that space with 26g.

I was just discussing the Roll elsewhere... I think it's great for our RTAs with all that tail material to fluff out. Especially true here with that giant U-shaped cut-out to fill.

I decided to unpack my bachelor.
I tried a combination of different things all at once so I'm not sure which one worked.
I changed the small blk o ring on the top of the chimney. I noticed the one that came installed was just a bit smaller than the spares.
Cut the wick as close as possible. Tucked the bottom just slightly in at the bottom. Used the Scottish roll. Lastly I opened the juice flow all the way. No leaks ,no flooding. No liquid on the base that sits flush on 510.
2 tanks and vaping well.
Still not a fan of the way the top closes. It will easily open if I'm not careful. I can put a Vape band on but I'm not a fan of them.

I was just having a look at that o-ring the other day, interesting..

Another thing I've noticed is that on my Nano the clear o-ring in the chimney is always dislodged when I take it apart. Some times it's just a little out of place, sometimes it just floats in there completely loose when I open it up. This never happened with the full-size version, it always stayed in place when I opened it up on that one which makes me suspect that the o-ring sits much looser in my full size version.

I might have to try the large one with two o-rings sometimes, if I can get two in there anyway.

Look what finally arrived... [emoji2]

Can someone tell me what material is the coil that comes pre-installed in the tank? Is it Kanthal? I don't want to be firing a TC coil in wattage mode.

I know the one that comes as an extra in the box is Ni200 but not sure about the one in the tank. On the box it just says "0.5 ohm ROC coil". Doesn't mention the type of wire.

Oh cool, fist time I see it with it's own box!

Mine just came in a regular Bachelor's box with a sticker saying "Nano" on it, lol

That's a 0,5ohm Nichrome coil installed from factory, meant to be used in wattage mode. I've never even tried it though.
