No problem. I'm waiting on a SJMY kayfun V5 clone myself actually, and I've also just ordered a joyetech Ultimo to try out the ceramic coil. The SXK kayfun V5 mini clone also looks tempting but I'm gonna try the full size version first to see how I'll like it.
All the reputable name clones seem to be as good as the authentic. Hope it works out for you too! I only went with Tobeco to get black. Well that and they've made good Kayfun clones in the past.

And I think there's also a Merlin in my future even though I think they're ....-ugly, lol
:D Exactly why I didn't get one. The more I looked at it, the more I couldn't anymore, LOL

On another note, I had already forgot about them, but the FT o-rings came in today. They looked a bit larger then the originals and fit slightly loose, but I am vaping of a completely dry black Nano right now!

I still have to test it a bit more because I've just put it together, but normally it would have already leaked by now so that's progress at least.
I love good news! Hope it continues to be dry for ya! I had said I went with the 15mm instead of 14 in hopes that less stretching provided a little more thickness. Seems to work well.

The buried one you mean? I've lurked there for a bit but I'm kind of a one-forum guy.

Not sure I follow. ECF's "Outside" is buried, but I'm talking about that entirely other, much lambasted vape forum. I like both, but the DNA75 thread(s) are here and the couple of DNA133/200 threads I frequent are over there.

C'est la vie.

Amazing. *fingers crossed*

Good luck on the shorting issue too.

Ok, it's been a week and no one has responded but you two.

There are two things we can do:

1. I can place an order for you guys and send it to one of you when it gets here, adding 16 or 17 bucks for shipping in total (so you can divide that between the two of you).

2. Or if you can wait a few more weeks until I know for sure that I don't have to return what I have (I hear back from the paypal dispute before the 18th of August at the latest) you can pm me your address and I divide all the Bachelor o-rings I have out of the 4 that I still have here between the two of you and send you those since I won't be needing them myself any longer as I have no working Bachelor anymore. I'd offer you all the pieces of glass I have too but I'm not sure if they'll survive shipping in a padded envelope.

Just let me know what you want me to do.

That's cool I can wait but I would like to get at least the top o-ring. Thanks very much, I'm sorry to hear you plage of bad luck with these. Quantity control must not be very good. On a side note mine leaked for the first time, but it was 100% my fault, I didn't fully close the top fill. Oh well lesson learned, got a vape band there now. Other than that I'm getting flawless performance on the nano.

Yeah, I have my eye on a black one too, but lets try it out first :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way, lol. Still curious about how it performs though.

Ah yes, I probably read that but had forgotten about it again. It's holding up well though, it was still dry this morning and after 2 refills so far

I meant buried as in under-the-ground, but I might as well just say the name now, lol

Good luck on the shorting issue too.

It's still dry!

Not sure what caused the atomizers to short out. I didn't see anyone else complain about it so perhaps it has something to do with my shims, idk. I'm glad I know about it now though, I was having very inconsistent resistance readings on Good Nano (now dead Nano, lol) for weeks already and I just thought all my cheap China mods were causing that but they're perfectly fine now I've switched to other tanks

The aftermarket o-rings Cirus found seem to fix the problem at least on one of my Nano's so that's something.

I don't have an unused one of those but sure, I can send you one or two (or did I misunderstand and do you want me to order a new one for you..?)

Just send me a pm and we'll work something out.

Hmmm, now that you mention it, I did kick one in the teeth once when he tried to rob me after pretending to need medical care, but I think I'm good with karma on that one ;)

ive had the bachelor for about 6 weeks now, my dd at about 20-30mls /day, once a week wick change, and im happy to report no leaking as of yet. well it does leak if i forget to close the weep holes b4 refilling, user error.
idk if this has helped but i fully insert the base until it bottoms out b4 screwing it on.
formerly using the stmini rba v1 and the bachelor is a better atomizer.
imo ymmv

I picked one of these up for really cheap and now Im wondering if I should cancel the order. I havent read through this whole thread but there seems to be an overwhelming amount of people with issues. (Or so it seems from the little I read!)

Maybe for price its not too bad to give it a shot. What are some suggestions or tips for this tank, should I have issues?

Thanks :)

no leaking unless i forget to close juice control while filling and even then it doesnt leak all the time when i refill w/it open. it will also leak if i thin the tails too much.
i do fully insert base until it bottoms out b4 i start screwing it on, supposedly that saves it from shredding the oring.
the coil head screws are crap though, the hex portion tend to round out.
owned it for about 2 months, its my dd at about 20-30mls a day and rewick at about 4-7 days.
imo ymmv

Thank you. Thats reassuring.

Have you replaced the hex screws to something more sturdy or are you still dealing with the striped heads?

Im not sure I follow about inserting thr base till it bottoms out, but I assume that will be cleared up once I see the tank in person.

there are spare screws that come w/the bachelor as well as orings, i havent used the spares as of yet as i can still use the screws(just one of them, the other is fine upto now) just enough to tighten down but im playing w/fire if i cant back them out one day.
i might use a dremmel to cut a slot on the head so i can maybe use a flat head screwdriver but the head is really really small so that could be a fail. still have to go to hw store to see if i can find "set" screws for extra backups that will be the same size.
to clarify, its not the threads that get stripped but the hex head that rounds out, the head is too small since its a set screw and/or too soft of a metal.

when installing the base, the part where the coil is, i fully insert it into the body until it doesnt go any further then thats when i start turning/screwing it in.

in this review it mentions inserting base

I still have to test it a bit more because I've just put it together, but normally it would have already leaked by now so that's progress at least.

Odd thing though, I wanted to try the o-rings on my full size Bachelor first but that deck also keeps giving me atomizer short errors now for some reason. Very strange, since good Nano shorted out too yesterday. I'll try to pull the bases apart to see if I can get some idea of what's going on inside.

I still have one more Nano to try the o-rings on though, maybe I'll get to that one tomorrow. With recent developments I have the feeling that the other ones will short out too sooner or later but we'll see.

About the orings i bought the same size of the ones from fasttech in a local store near my home and i have already some conclusions. I replaced the 2 white orings and because they are i think 1mm larger than the originals i could not screw the base to the end of it, the result i had leaking i assume it was juice enter from the inner top of the chimine, because it remains a gap between the base and the inner top. The oring that couse this is the one under the screws. So i put back the original and only the oring above the screws is now the larger one. Right now i can screw the base almost to the end and i believe there is now contact with the oring inside de chimine. No leaks so far.
Sorry for my english.

it's not an o-ring, it's a flat seal. The tank comes with an extra but after that, good luck.

About that flat seal you wont believe the lucky son of a ..... i am :)
When i received the bachelor i cleaned it in my lav and only after that i realized reading this topic that some how i lose the one that came inside the tank. I went to my bathroom, removed the drain of my lav and there it was :) This is pure luck!!!

I did have to make sure it was seated properly before I put it back together, but I had no problem getting it together tight with the new black o-rings both above and below the screws.

I've still only tried it on black Nano so far, but it is holding up great.

On another note; I finally found a very nice replacement for the Bachelors. If you're tired of dealing with the issues and don't mind a slightly more restricted draw I highly recommend the Kayfun V5. I have a SJMY clone myself and it is just superb. Same rich flavorful wet vape without all the hassle. Now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that the second one that's inbound is just as good as the first one :p

Well i must say i have kayfun in my heart because it was my first rta 2 years ago but this v5 is way to big for me, it looks like a torpedo, loool. But i know it is great in performance. Right now i will keep this bachelor among with 2 other rta's, billow v2 nano and serpent mini. No intentions of buying anything else for now. but.... i'm a vaper so never say never :p
