I've read the posts about the leaking from this tank.
As self-proclaimed 'King of Leaks', I decree that this tank is the only tank I've ever used that has not leaked.
Not once, not even a little.
3.5mm spaced coil, 7mm KJD, cut flush with the deck.
I won't read replies to this as if someone says it couldn't work, it will stop working.
Same reason I don't fly on planes, once you know it's impossible, it is.

Got a pack of the iJoy TSS coils in today from Lightning Vapes (the iJoy version of the notch coil) and tried it out with the Bachelor. Very pleased – the ramp up time is next to zero, and the 3.5mm coils fit perfectly in the Bachelor.
It’s a little challenging running them in wattage mode since the ramp up is so quick it’s easy to get a dry-ish hit. I’m finding it works best in temp control.
Only been playing with it for a short while, but so far I’m really impressed with how those coils work with the Bachelor.

Ooo, I'm so glad that I have a couple of TC mods that do SS... Lovin' my Evic VTC Minis and got a Pico 75W on the way, too.

Haha, I'm not really complaining. I only got my first mod a few weeks ago and I'm absolutely loving my Evic VT.
Plus now I still have a great excuse to shop around for a more up to date back-up unit
I really like the looks of that little Pico, it definitely is in my top 3 of mods to watch. But I'm still shopping around and curious to see what else will come out this year, no rush.
It's worth playing around with SS in Ti TC mode.
It's the exact same procedure as using Ti in Ni TC mode... turn the max temp down.
In that case it's around 70-100 F, you'll have to play with it to find an offset for SS in Ti mode.
You'll get temp protection, but almost certainly lose dry hit prevention as the calculations are now off. Though I've never pushed it that far. But it does work for TP at least.
I've not managed to get SS to temp protect properly in Ni mode though.
For me... I run out of temp adjust at the lower limit while it's still too hot. YMMV.

I've read about people (you maybe?) experimenting with SS in the VT thread, but the results didn't sound great from what I remember. But I guess I could order some wire just for the fun of it.
Did you use 316, or will I perhaps have a better chance of success with a higher grade?
My only loose SS is 316L from Unkamen, and I know the Crown heads are 316 as well.

I assembled and wicked it this morning and haven't had a juice ring since. Have probably vaped around 15ml in this one today.

I don't have much to compare it to but it is real easy to build on. It does require a bit larger coil to provide you with enough wick to keep it from leaking though. Or well, larger then I was used to coming from a Toptank anyway.
Idk how they can still sell tanks with more then 2ml capacity but E-wolk has them in stock and ships real quick.
Watch that little o-ring in the cone-shaped part of the chimney closely when you clean it though, or you'll be cleaning up some e-liquid
Mine is still the same as when new. And, I haven't had any issues with the top fill gasket.
Others have I guess.

E-wolk is actually located in Germany, that's how he does it. And shops have until November of this year to clear existing stock

Wow, you manage to fit coils that large on the Subtank RBA?! I usually top out @2,5mm on that one. I haven't really used my Toptank much since I got this one though. I find it lacking flavor greatly since I've gotten used to the Bachelor
But yeah, that will do nicely. I make 3mm ish coils for my Bachelors (I use titanium and they always turn out a little larger then I wrap them because of the springiness).
That's funny, both orders I got from E-wolk came from within the country and I had to send my Bachelor to Oosterbeek when returning it to exchange the first one I got
That's great! Perhaps you can put together little o-ring kits for the Bachelor and sell them on the forum once you got the sizes down
The hinge is fine. The locking mechanism is poor in my opinion. Needs a Vape band if you plan to pocket it.
