Took mine apart yesterday, rinsed it, dried it and tried the included ni200 coil. Have refilled 2-4 times since then and it hasn't leaked a tiny drop.

This means that there is nothing wrong with my tank but the issue is 100% my wicking game... Now i just have to figure out how to wick it without leaks.. Damn wick-i-leaks...

you have to make SURE the wick doesn't touch those two little holes next to a post hole on one side. and fill the slots with your wick. that's all it takes in my experience, along with making sure all orings are in place.

did we ever decide if we can plug those up and not affect performance?

I can't notice any difference with or without plugs, didn't stop my full size Bachelor from leaking neither though.

I've never tried the Nano without plugs but I suspect it's fine either way. I'll remove the plugs next time I put in a new coil in a week or two and let you guys know if it makes any difference though.

Yeah i thought i did that with every wick but apparently something was still wrong.

What kind of cotton do you use and what kind of technique are you using?

Plugged mine and it didn't affect performance. I removed the plugs when i washed it the last time.

@OhTheAgony, still digging the mini?

Yep, it's my fav RTA. I'm gonna get a couple more of these.

It's a bit thirsty, at least with my twisted coils & wicking, but the flavor & vapor production is so good that I don't really mind.

I still don't understand why I can't get the regular Bachelor to stop leaking though, I've tried two but both had the same problem. I don't think it's my wicking to be honest, since I haven't got it wrong on the Nano even once. I currently have a pretty loose wick in my Nano and I feared it was gonna be problematic when I installed it, but even when I forgot to close off the JFC one night it still didn't leak a drop.

My use is pretty low currently so I don't really need a larger tank at the moment, but I'll probably end up paring a Nano base with a full size Bachelor at some point or another.

I don't know what kind of production error or internal damage is causing yours to leak so badly. Mine works so well, I haven't taken it apart since I first cleaned it pre-use.

Like you say... at this point it's very unlikely to be your wicking. :(

Yeah, the only conclusion I can come to is that the shop I got both from received a bad batch perhaps, serial numbers were pretty close on them anyway.

I was trying to get some more info from the seller but all communication stopped once I received my replacement Bachelor. I didn't even get an answer on my inquiry about spare o-rings.

I'm trying to decide between the Bachelor mini, and the Serpent mini.

I really like the looks of the Serpent, but the build deck and wicking style of the Bachelor seemed a bit more logical to me on the Bachelor. That's what I based my choice on when I first got one anyway.

Jim should have both soon to give us a little comparison though ;)

Yeah, I love the Bachelor deck/wicking compared to what I've seen with the new Serpent deck. Thanks brother.

Well, we'll see. My package from Eciggity hasn't updated since Monday evening. :(
It's still just showing arrival at Honolulu.

But yeah MMW... do what I did and get both. :p

I haven't replaced the 24g SS I put in the Bachelor, but it does limit your build options a little having to span that distance between the leg holes. Unless one leaves extra long legs just hangin' out there.

But damn... it makes for a tasty, productive vape, even with just a simple coil.

The Serpent is intriguing to me for its' simple suspended single coil deck, and the slightly different method of placing or pinning the legs. I have two RBA decks for my OG Sub Tank from last summer... and have never used it. So it's old school, but new to me.
Looking forward to it.

Just have to remember to roll 'em Lefty.
WoToFo loves CCW coils. :p
