Just got my kayfun Lite clone in today, the screws were perfectly flush and after swapping out the drip tip which was a little loose with another I had laying around the thing hits perfectly no tight draw. Put it on top of a hcigar Nemesis I use as a daily driver since I dont want to scratch up the original it's by far my favorite setup and perfectly flush with one another.

I was at my ropes end with the tight draw so I tore the unit all the way down to bits. What I found was the positive post has a horizontal 1/16th hole drilled through it. That hole was partially blocked by some plastic burrs that I suspect came off of the internal insulator. I cleaned out said hole with a drill bit and then I reamed out the internal insulator of the base ever so slightly so that the positive post would slide back in with out resistance from the insulation. Problem totally fixed. That being said, the draw is still a bit tighter (maybe 40%?) than my genuine KFL. It's less than optimal but totally acceptable. Hope this helps someone out KCVO

Just picked this up at vapetoy.com along with some extra IMR batteries. Vapetoy also has the correct replacement screws. From what I'm reading, soak the parts thoroughly in alcohol before building.

Now the fun part, I've never built an RBA but I have a decent feel for the process and the tools to complete it. I'm guessing now I should get some .28 Kanthal and I really want to use cotton, not silica or ekowool so I need to pick some of that up as well. I have a few ohm testers and a meter at my disposal, as well as a trusty 1/16th drill bit.

The good news is I have plenty of backups while I figure out how to build this stuff :)

Grabbed some organic cotton balls on Amazon, finally got a Nitecore charger ($15 on Amazon, shipped with Prime, w00t!), and some .30 Kanthal. Figure I'll start there and figure it out as I go. I'm glad that I can ditch the no-name batteries I got with my Vamo and put in some true IMR high-drains as well...

Welcome to the club. I run a 1.2 ohm micro coil with cotton in my Kayfuns using 28g around a tooth pick. The tooth pick is a pinch bigger than a 1/16 bit so it allows for a bit more wick. Do yourself a favor and hop over to the kayfun lie thread and find the build videos by vapedivr. You're about to find out how good vaping can be my friend

i have been to three hardware stores in my area and have yet to find the appropriate machine screws
ACE has them. They usually have a separate box in the metric screw drawers with the tiny ones.

Try a hobby shop

Yup, same screws you would use for radio control servos and the like.

i haven't been able to find any stainless steel m1.6 screws. i give up man, going to have to order 100 pack online lol
ACE is the place!

As a note, I picked up 2 of these recently from Calivapers group buy section for $45 each shipped (Genuinekid). The screw problem seems to be rectified as I've had no issues. My drip tips all seem to fit as well and they came with an adapter for drip tips as well. Come with both tanks and extra o rings in the pleather box. Had an original a while back and this is a spot on replica. They work great!

EHPro Kayfun Lite Clone

I received mine, 06 Nov 2013, been putting it through it's paces ...
- Must say, it's working pretty good.
- An excellent alternative, to carto tanks.
- The draw on my setup, is very much like the draw coming from a carto tank.

Bought mine at "VapeRoyalty"
- Along with a "Atomo Mod Clone"

The "Atomo Mod Clone" and the "EHPro Kayfun Lite Clone" ... make a nice pair together.

How did you guys remove the center post screw? Did you just press it down thru the insulator? I'm hesitant to just press it through and possibly tear up the insulator. I ask bc my clone doesn't sit near flush on my provari so i need to sand down the 510 connector (or the center pin screw head) to flush it up better.
