Hmm... so it can't be closed down, unless I fit some other strange part in it? I have no earthly idea what a "M3 X 5 grub screw" is. I do have some spare kayfun screws, both the mounting screws and a couple of fillhole screws, but no idea whatsoever what that "M3 X 5 grub screw" is, and have no idea what you mean by "slotted".

Andria

I'm sorry Andria it comes with the slotted grub screw already installed. It has everything you need and you can tighten up the draw to your liking.

I "upgraded" it a bit :)

The Tobeco is pretty solid and after I gave it a good bath it's worked perfect. I'm a little OCD and like things a certain way and changed the slotted AFC screw to a hex grub.

Sorry again for the confusion.

A grub screw doesn't have a head on it. The post screws do have a head, to give an example, as do fill screws. Heres a photo of a grub screw:
Grub Screw - Shapers Pty Ltd

A slotted screw uses a screwdriver with a flat, straight edge. The ones that use an Allen wrench have a hole that is shaped like a hexagon that the wrench fits into.

Hmm ok... though to be honest, the release of the v4s has driven the prices of KFL+'s so low, I'll probably just stick with those; I know how great they are, and really can't imagine a better vape. I made a $25 mistake of ordering one of the smok RSBTs, and I really don't like it at all. Huge PITA to build for.

I have the ehpro, here's what I've found on mine. I'm thinking of picking up the tobeco one next to compare.

  • Mine doesn't have a flat spot on the top piece where you refill. Mine floods a little on every single refill. To rememdy I leave the juice flow completely closed and vape for a bit.
  • The juice holes in the deck weren't drilled deep enough, so I had to clean that up with a drill bit and my drill.
  • The little square nut and insulator in the bottom are jammed in there on mine. I tried for 10 minutes to get them out to do the initial cleaned with no go. I don't want to damage the insulator.
  • This last one, maybe more of an issue with my build. I get dry hits with juices that have more than 70% VG. And it's a pain to cover 4 airholes when I try to prime it a bit.
  • I notice a .1 ohm difference between full open and full closed juice control. Not noticeable to me with kanthal builds, but a no go for dna40 nickel builds. The spring doesn't seem that stiff to me. A sleeve to replace the spring would be required for good dna40 nickel build performance.

Thanks for the little review. Not as enthused about getting mine now. I'm really surprised it doesn't have the flat spot on the fill cap. I thought that was crucial in creating the vacuum.

I believe it's crucial to let air escape as you try tighten the top cap. So you don't force eliquid out the bottom.

For me even fully closing the juice control doesn't help. I just flooded the crap out of mine. Gonna have to find a new way to fill it.

Alright guys just finished setting up the infinite clone ....even though I cleaned it didn't get a machine oil smell from it ( my first szeaster clone stank of machine oil ) everything is pretty much spot on ...threads are nice ( don't know what kind of stainless steel they are using ) comes with a bag of orings and screws ( no extra spring ) all the tank parts plus a bell cap! Haven't used it yet using glass right now . the juice control is nice and not overly to hard to turn ..its reading on my DNA 40 the right ohms ( my szeaster was reading .01 higher prob spring related ...no leaking so far but only a hour or so of vaping ...don't have a tobeco version so can't compare to that one but have to say I'm very happy with infinite clone right now ....hope that helps

Do what I was doing when I couldn't get my juice control to work. Fill via the holes in the bottom of the chimney bell, then screw the base back on.

Exactly what I was thinking after watching a few reviews. Dunno how a company like EHPro, who is known for excellent clones, could leave out such a crucial piece of the pie. I might end up sending mine back before even using it.

I don't know either. I wanted that black one, but I'll pass for now. Maybe down the road they will fix it.

Well I am heading to the PO in a bit to pick mine up. If it doesn't have the flat side on the fill cap I think I am going to send it back before I even give it a try. Sounds like it will be totally frustrating to use without.

If you really like it, you can bottom fill it. Fill through the holes in the chimney bell. You need a needle bottle or syringe with a needle. Then while the tank is inverted, screw on the base with the juice control open, flip it, and you're good.

I guess. But this totally takes away from the ease of fill that is a major appeal with the v4.

Some of my juices are glass and have droppers. I hated having to move them to a bottle that's compatible with the kfl. I was excited to see top fill as a new feature.

On mine I will most likely use a table grinder to make a flat spot and retap the threads.

Just picked up my EHPro. Major disappointment. Not only does it not have the notch in the fill cap, I can't get the juice control to turn at all. Going back for sure. Not even gonna waste my time attempting to get it to work.

That's a drag Garemlin, Tebeco has a black one out now and it's been working pretty well.

I know your thought's on Tebeco and you and I were/are on the same page. You may have to break down ;)

I felt the same way about Tobeco, but they've come a long way. They nailed the K4 and Aquav2. I have an Orchidv3 and Prometeyv2 by them, and they're great.
