They're definitely not made in the same factory. And the Tobeco works right and the EHPro doesn't

I've never had any problems at all with my Tobeco KFL+'s -- they're flawless in every detail. If only the coil mounting posts were the kind you stick a wire through, instead of around. That's the only thing I would change about a kayfun of any kind.

And since I like a tight draw, I do think I'd be best served by another KFL+ or two instead of a v4, especially since the prices have gone down some in the wake of the v4.

I know EHpro makes good stuff, my Fallen Angel mod is one of their clones, and it's absolutely perfect, but there is nothing at all wrong with Tobeco's stuff.

I think the Tobeco kayfuns only like you :). Seriously, no one else gets along with them; i guess you have the touch. They were what put me off to Tobeco. But, I have that Orchid and Prometey, and they are quite good. I ordered the Tobeco k4 as well.

EHPro is usually one of the best cloners, but missing a crucial design aspect on the k4 is troubling.

Andria, consider the Lemo. Huge build deck and it has holes for the coil leads if you want them. You can tighten down the draw.

I did look at it, but everyone in the thread was hollerin about "massive airflow" and "righteous cloudz bro" so I figured it wasn't anything I'd like. :D I got sucked into the RSBT hysteria, and I like smok products, but I really hate that tank, it's a huge pain in the .... to build right, or even to get the top cap on properly! :grr: It taught me that I like KFL+'s better than anything else I've tried, so I might as well just stick with it. The tobecos I have are perhaps slightly different from a lot of them; I bought them from a great vendor on eBay, IronVapin, and they were advertised as "custom 2mm airflow"... perhaps that is the difference. They've never given me the slightest problem, once I learned to wick my coils properly.

I have my Lemo airflow half closed, and it can go a lot tighter. I'm not into big clouds either (we are close in age, and women). Honestly, its an easier build and better flavor than the kfl. I think you would like it.

Lemo is awesome. I have two. I keep my afc about half closed as well. Great flavor and vapor. Love these things.

I'm right there with you, my first RTA was a kfl+ clone and I thought it was the be all end all. I'm all about flavor and I really think you can build the Lemo easier, close down the airernessington to your liking. Giant deck, post holes that work with kanthal like a champ! For $35 or so dollars, I think you should give it a go! If you get one and don't like it, I've got an Ehpro kfl+ I'll give you for the inconvenience that I've cleaned and stuck back in the box 'cause I just don't keep it in rotation any more!!

Andria, should have been directed your way but included roxy's quote for general purpose!!

I paid $30, but bought it two days after it was released. It wasn't popular yet :)
I paid $32 I think a several months ago. But have seen them just in the last few weeks for $30 on eBay. There was a retailer who I can't recall that had a special on them for $28 a few weeks ago. All very reasonable prices. Might grab a third.

Hey man! I don't know if you've ordered yet but I got my Tobeco clone of the Kayfun 4 today and it is awesome! Machined well, smooth threading, no visible flaws, I've been vaping on it all afternoon. Its actually fantastic! Haven't had a single dry hit. I do find that the flavor is a bit muted from the KFL+ V2 but thats okay. It performs, period.

The Tobeco looks fine. It's just that the price seems suspiciously low. Could it be that China makes them both for about $10 and the vendors mark them up? EHPro obviously has a greater markup margin.
A lot of people have had great luck with the Tobeco version, myself included. I currently have 3 of them. No problems whatsoever. Still running original parts they came with and have been using them daily for over a month.

I have been using an EHPro version (with the proper flat-sided top nut) for the past month. I like mine so much, I ordered a second one two weeks ago and that one has been great too.

Now that I have the replacement deck and top cap mine has been flawless. Even though I wasn't planning on it I ended up buying another one from the same buyer for $26 shipped. This one the base was able to be fully disassembled without issue. Including the #2 insulator. I do believe they are using an upgraded spring now too.

I've been using the EHPro V4 for four days now and it has been near flawless. I have not experienced any leaking or gurgling at all and I have the version WITHOUT the flat spots on the top cap. The only problem so far is that the 510 connector is too short to use my provari beauty rings on my provari's, so it looks a little wonky.
