I will have to take a look at it. Never know what I might learn!!!

:)

LOL Even I am learning new things in using excel, one of my favorite programs to use. We will see how the iPohne/iTouch app turns out.

Nice to know there are other vapers nearby! And a DIYer like I am too....
I live near Altha Donley.

No kidding?
I keep finding more and more like minded folks in our neck of the woods.

Thank you for posting your location . I think we are getting close in numbers to start a panhandle vapors club.

If there is anything I can ever help you with please let me know.
I am a un-official (local) vendor and resaler of Levy's nic liquid. As well as pieces and parts for e-cigs.
I only sell to friends and family and family of friends so I'm not a threat to anyone here nor do I need vendor status. Just doing my portion to help out the locals and the family.

Without a doubt, ScubaBatDan is the man!!! (Even though he lives in Alabama, LOL) There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of him, use his calculator or talk (well) about him.
He deserves all the accolades we can bestow upon him.

Can you imagine what version 29 of his calculator will be like? It will probably mix it for you.

Thank you for the fine work SBD

Well to get 36mg you would need to add 1.9ml of 100mg to 10ml of 24mg to get 11.9ml of 36.13mg.
I use section 4 of the calculator, start with the known, first liquid 10ml of 24. Then enter second liquid mg's 100mg, and then start changing the ml field of the 100mg juice and you will arrive at 1.875ml of 100mg added to 10ml of 24mg to get 36mg exactly. I rounded up to 1.9ml for ease of measuring.
This help?

Scuba,

Can I make a request? I've seen some spreadsheets with an extra tab that have a printable format, and others that have a copy and paste format.

Would it be possible to do that, and print out or prep our saved recipes to share with folks?

Thanks, and I love the sheet. I'm so horrible at math I'd poison myself without it!

Hi everyone!

Well I have been at it again, I have taken many request and Ideas have incoorporated them in version 10.

Here is the new look:
v10.jpg

Changes:

Moved things around so you can see everything at once at 80% zoom level.

Radio Buttons added to select a PG or VG based juice. This will affect the Water/vodka/PGA fields.
If PG is selected then the Water/vodka/PGA is based on the total VG that is entered in the VG field.

If VG is selected then the VG field is disabled since you are using only VG, then the Water/vodka/PGA field is based on the total VG that is used in the mix minus flavoring.

I have also added in a recipe card print page, go to the last sheet and select the recipe you want and hit print. The print area is set for only the card.

Example:
Recipe.jpg

Well I hope everyone likes the changes.

Download link is in my sig, or direct download below:

Found a small glitch in the water/vodka/pga cell in section 2, when selecting VG you can get a negitive number. I have corrected it, the one in my sig is fixed. Please download this one instead of the one above.
Dan

Added, when in PG mode, the water was not reporting correctly. That has been corrected. I added a nag screen to remind people that when you click the PG radio button, you must have a number like 20% in the VG field in section 1 or the water field in section 2 will remain at 0, since the water percent is based on the VG you are adding. i.e. 20% of 0% VG is 0 :)
Hope this helps
Dan

Hi SBD

I just downloaded v10 from your signature and plugged in my numbers and I am still getting a negative result for water/vodka. The numbers I'm using are:

Nic Base 70mg/ml
Target 14mg/ml
Amount 30ml
Water/Vodka/PGA 10%
Flavor 10%

The above are producing a water/vodka/pga of -0.30ml

This is my 1st attempt to make my own ejuice. Are my numbers not reasonable. Perhaps your (default) 20% water/vodka/pga is better? I know my VG is rather thick and definately needs to be thined down, still a negative number would seem to be a problem and makes me question the acuracy of the calculation even if higher numbers (like 20%) are used (which does indeed produce a positive number).

If I choose VG as my base, I can duplicate your negative numbers for "Water/Vodka/PGA."

Further, in Section 1, the program appears to assume that if I start with a VG base, I don't plan to add any PG. The line above "Flavor" where I would expect the info to go says "None" instead of "PG" and is also protected. Is this intentional?

I am not personally hampered by this as my nicotine fluid base is PG based however, I am curious.

Edit: Just re-read the instructions and realized I was confused about the intention of the radio buttons:

...If VG is selected then the VG field is disabled since you are using only VG, then the Water/vodka/PGA field is based on the total VG that is used in the mix minus flavoring....

Thanks for the Bug report, flavor was being minused twice in VG mode, it has been corrected. Now it reports correctly at 2.70ml based on your numbers.

LOL no problem, I figured it was easier to make the radio buttons as I would have had to duplicate the sheet to give the straight VG users their own sheet. Now everyone can co habitate :)
There was an additional bug in the VG side that has been corrected. Please download the lastest version posted as of 4:45pm today in post 296 or in my sig line.
Thanks for the feedback guys!
